Abstract: An electroluminescent display device includes a display panel including a plurality of pixels, a first compensation value calculator for calculating a first compensation value based on prediction according to an accumulation result of video data to be written in the pixels, a second compensation value calculator for calculating a second compensation value based on sensing according to an electrical sensing value with respect to driving characteristics of the pixels, and a data corrector for correcting the video data based on the first compensation value and the second compensation value.

Abstract: A log event can be received from a log source within an application server environment. The log event can be an error message which is associated with a log level. In one embodiment, the application server environment can be a JAVA 2 ENTERPRISE EDITION runtime environment. The log event can be analyzed to determine the ontology of the log event which can comprise of the log event, the user context, and the relationship of the log event to the user context. The log event can be associated with the user context as determined by the relationship of the log event.

The solution according to the present invention solves this by applying a matrix-like method of handling test and verification parameter combinations and interacting with a user using a browser like interface for simple and fast selection of coverage.

Abstract: This invention is directed to allowing an electronic device with a failed file system to dynamically direct a host device to reformat it, by making the storage component appear to be in its unformatted state. Upon detection of file system failure, the device writes changes to its disk to make it appear as factory-new to a host device. The host device treats the electronic device as if it is a brand new device that has never been connected to a host device before, and reformats it. By reformatting the device's storage component, the host device thereby provides a way to maintain communication between the host device and electronic device, allowing a more sophisticated application to then diagnose and recover the contents of the storage component, without the involvement of the user or a specialist. This avoids returns of devices with failed file systems, thereby improving the overall user experience.

Abstract: A method, device, and system including built-in self tests for a communication bus device is disclosed. In one form, a method of testing a device operable to be coupled to a communication port an information handling system includes accessing a configuration descriptor of a first device operable to be coupled to a communication bus of an information handling system. The method can also include detecting a self-test descriptor associated with the configuration descriptor and testing a portion of the first device using test information associated with the self-test descriptor. The device and system can include logic to perform the methods described herein.

Abstract: A failure diagnosing method of logic circuits includes generating failure candidate data for logic circuits based on failure diagnosis data obtained from the logic circuits by using a failure diagnosis tool; and inputting the failure candidate data for the logic circuits. A predetermined data is extracted from each of the failure candidate data for the logic circuits. Failures of the logic circuits are diagnosed by collecting a name of each of the failure candidate data from the predetermined data and the number of failure candidate data; and the collected data are outputted on a display unit.
