The keyword score for a particular candidate keyword is determined based on the length of the candidate keywords that contain the candidate keyword and the frequency of the words appearing in the candidate keywords. One or more keywords having the highest keyword scores are selected as the extracted keywords. The extracted keywords can be used in applications, such as refining search results, providing suggested search terms, or improving the match rate of a network page at a search engine.

The media content item is streamed to a device of the requesting account holder in response to the streaming request. At least some of the data items and their associated metadata correlated with the media content item are transmitted from the community space to the requesting account holder in conjunction with streaming the media content item to the requesting account holder.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and other embodiments associated with extracting attributes from electronic data structures are described. In one embodiment, a method includes correlating tokens from description strings with defined attributes in an electronic inventory database by identifying which of the defined attributes match the tokens to link the tokens with columns of the database associated with the defined attributes. The method includes iteratively updating annotation strings for unidentified ones of the tokens by generating suggested matches for the unidentified tokens according to known correlations between identified tokens and the defined attributes using a conditional random fields model. The method also includes populating the database using the identified tokens from the description strings according to the annotation strings by automatically storing the tokens from the description strings into the columns as identified by the annotation strings.

Abstract: Summarization of an input story can be accomplished through identification of causal relationships, both explicit and implicit. The input story is transformed into an interpretation sequence, using syntactic cues, and common sense knowledge of an average reader. The interpretation sequence is a time ordered semantic representation of the input story, comprised of story elements. The common sense knowledge includes inference rules, which, from story elements already present, can add additional story elements to the interpretation sequence. Application of inference rules, based on type, can be prioritized. Summarization of the interpretation sequence can be accomplished by the selection of explicit story elements, according to a connection-based strategy, or a concept-based strategy. Regarding a concept-based strategy, metrics can be applied, to select the concepts for contra-causal searching of the interpretation sequence.
