At the first endpoint, the initial image of the shared content is displayed. A user selection of a selected region of the initial image is received at the first endpoint, and a second image of the shared content corresponding to the selected region is received at the first endpoint, wherein the second image has a higher resolution than the initial image.

Abstract: According to one embodiment of the disclosure, a query generation system generally includes an element rank and inference engine in communication with a computing system and a user interface. The element rank and inference engine is operable to receive a user supplied element from the user interface, the user supplied element being associated with a first filter criterion. The element rank and inference engine is also operable to create, using the first filter criterion, at least one second element and rank according to their relative importance, the at least one first element and the at least one second element according to their associated first filter criterion and second filter criterion. Next, the element rank and inference engine may output the at least one first filter element and the second filter element to the computing system.

Abstract: Embodiments described herein provide systems and methods for sharing encoder output of video streams. In a particular embodiment, a method provides determining video profiles for each of a plurality of devices. The method further provides determining if two or more of the video profiles are similar by determining if parameters associated with each video profile differ by less than a threshold value. The method further provides transmitting a video stream encoded in a single format to the devices if they have similar profiles and transmitting video streams encoded in different formats to the devices if they do not have similar profiles.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a bi-directional VR (virtual reality) system and, more particularly, to a bi-directional VR system using a user image and a user voice extracted by a 3D depth camera, and media processed by synthesizing an interactive content image and sound. A bi-directional VR system may include two or more terminals; and a mixing server configured to transmit mixed data generated by processing signals transmitted from the terminals to the respective terminals. Abstract: An apparatus and method is presented for receiving and displaying user messages associated with multimedia content. Specifically, the present invention is directed to controlling the operation of a television recording/playback system to permit a user to input a message, associate that message with a selected television program, and display the associated message when the selected television program is accessed by another user (see FIG. 1). The apparatus of the present invention is directed to a system for managing multimedia content including devices for storing television programs and associating with those programs user-generated messages for display to other system users. In this way, the present invention provides content management tools that promote sharing by all users, ease the process of establishing a consensus for managing limited resources, and encourage monitoring by the administrator.

In response to receiving an input associated with a displayed action of resolving a comment, the comment can be marked as unresolved.

Abstract: Accessible user interface applications for crowdsourced notification and sharing of events are disclosed that include: at least one piece of multimedia information content that is related to an at least one event, experience or combination thereof, at least one mapped geographical location that is related to the at least one event, experience or combination thereof, wherein the at least one piece of multimedia information content and the at least one mapped geographical location are collected by the accessible user interface application and converted into a crowd sourced social map; and a mobile device, wherein the accessible user interface is stored on, located on, shown by, accessed by the user from or a combination thereof. First content of a first file and state information associated with a first state of the first content are sent from a presenter device to one or more viewing devices. The presenter device receives a notification from a first viewing device of the one or more viewing devices indicating additional content to add to the first content in the first state. The presenter device generates second state information associated with a second state of the first content using the notification, the second state relating to the additional content. The second state information is sent from the presenter device to the one or more viewing devices to display the first content in the second state on the one or more viewing devices. The first content in the second state is displayed on the presenter device.

Abstract: A mechanism is provided in a data processing system comprising a processor and a memory configured to implement a question and answer system (QA), for improving answers to an input question. An input question is received and parsed for a known set of critical information required to answer the input question. Responsive to one or more pieces of critical information failing to be identifiable in the input question, a user who submitted the input question is prompted for the one or more pieces of critical information via a graphical user interface (GUI).

If the computer detects an answer from a participant, the computer determines whether the answer has been marked by the answering participant as related to another question and answer thread. The computer moves the question and answer to the related thread if marked as related, otherwise the question and answer are saved as a new thread. The entirety of the web conference threads are then saved by the computer in an organized database.

Abstract: Method, system and device for acquiring directionally published microblog messages are disclosed. A first client acquires an instruction for reading a microblog message from a first user, wherein the instruction comprises a keyword of the first user; the first client extracts directionally published microblog messages matching with the keyword of the first user from an outbox of a second user, wherein the second user is followed the first user and has a directional publishing authority; and the first terminal displays the extracted directionally published microblog messages to the first user. Through the solutions provided the present disclosure, a first user only needs to access an outbox of a second user for acquiring a microblog message, and thus the first user does not need to delete the microblog message. The operation of the first user is simplified, and thereby the user experience will be improved.

Finally, the source image or video containing the target facial features is outputted for display. Alternatively, the system can run in real-time.

The mobile device comprises an inertial measurement unit (IMU).
