The method includes displaying on the screen a first displayed scene, detecting a long touch gesture, and displaying a second scene on the screen. The first displayed scene is characterized by a first magnification and a first offset relative to the underlying scene. The second displayed scene includes a different portion of the underlying scene and is characterized by a second magnification that is different from the first magnification. In one aspect of the invention, the second displayed scene is characterized by a second offset that is determined by the long touch gesture, and the second offset depends on the first displayed scene and the long touch gesture.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a method and device for tracking the sweet spots of a sweets spot unit for a transmissive electronic display. The aim of the invention is to improve the reproduction quality and the uniformity of illumination in displays of this type. The display contains a sweet spot unit consisting of an illumination matrix (1) and reproduction elements, in addition to an image matrix (4). Once the position of at least one observer's eye (6) has been determined by a control unit using inverse ray tracing, address data for activating illumination elements (LE) of the illumination matrix (1) is provided from the position data in order to prepare the defined sweet spots (5) for said observer's eye (6). To improve the reproduction quality, an additional optical component is used in ray path for the inverse ray tracing process.

Colors of the selected template design are automatically adjusted to match the selected the color from the source image. The selected template design may include framing, mat, background, and foreground portions, at least one of which is adjusted. After automatically adjusting the colors, the selected template design may be displayed and/or stored for use as a template.
