Abstract: Apparatus are disclosed for cameras and camera housings for vehicle trailers. An example camera housing for vehicle trailers includes a first body defining an aperture and a second body coupling to the first body to define a cavity. The example camera housing also includes a panel that slides along the first body toward an open position to expose the aperture as the cavity receives a camera and toward a closed position to cover the aperture as the camera is removed. The example camera housing also includes a spring biasing the panel toward the closed position.

Abstract: A cartridge drive apparatus includes a hole detection lever and a hole detector. The hole detection lever is provided with a projection corresponding to an identification hole position of a first shell of a cartridge at an insertion completion position of the cartridge. The projection is supported with respect to the identification hole to be movable in an insertion direction. The movement of the projection in the insertion direction is limited depending on a position of a second shell separated from the first shell. The hole detector is configured to detect whether or not an identification hole is formed at an identification hole position depending on the amount of movement of the projection in the insertion direction.

Abstract: According to one embodiment, the cassette is provided with an outer shell, a plurality of trays, a shutter, and a lock mechanism. The outer shell has an upper wall and a lower wall each including a square shape and a circular shape, a side wall between edges of the square shapes, and an opening portion between edges of the circular shapes. A tray is an annular shape having a concave portion in which an optical disk is placed. The shutter is a semicircular shape, includes a gear on an outer peripheral wall and a plurality of shelves to support each of the trays on an inner peripheral wall, and rotates from a first position for closing an opening portion to a second position for opening the opening portion. The lock mechanism locks the shutter in the first position.

Abstract: A disk cartridge includes a case body that is capable of housing a plurality of disk-shaped recording media and is joined or separated by making a first shell contact with/separate from a second shell in an axial direction, and a lock lever that is rotatably supported and locks the first shell and the second shell in a joining manner, in the inside of the case body. A supporting shaft is provided to the case body, the lock lever includes a supported part and a lock part, a disk inserting/ejecting slot is formed, an open/close panel is provided to the first shell, the lock lever is supported on an end part of the case body, and an insertion concave part in which the lock part of the lock lever can be inserted and engaged is formed within an inner face of the open/close panel.

Abstract: A disk cartridge according to the present invention includes first and second disk storage portions, each of which has a space to partially store a disk with at least one data storage side. When closed up, the first and second disk storage portions enclose the disk entirely. The disk cartridge further includes a supporting base member with a disk storage portion rotation supporting portion that supports rotatably the first and second disk storage portions so as to make or cover an opening with respect to the disk. The opening is used to get the disk chucked externally and to allow a head to access the data storage side of the disk and read and/or write data from/on that side. At least a portion of the supporting base member overlaps with the first and second disk storage portions so as to prevent the first and second disk storage portions from moving perpendicularly to the disk.

Abstract: An optical disk drive (ODD) disposed in the base of a notebook computer is provided. The front end of the tray of the ODD has a panel having a body with a side edge, a guide member and a fastening member. The guide member is connected to the body, and it can move relatively to the body. The guide member has a guide channel having a first end and a second end. The fastening member has a sheet structure and a guide pillar inserted into the guide channel protruding from the sheet structure. When the guide member is moved to allow the guide pillar to move from the second end to the first end along the guide channel, the sheet structure of the fastening member is driven to protrude from the side edge to be fastened to the base of the notebook computer.

Abstract: A disk cartridge including lower and upper shells, a rotation wheel housed rotatably in the cartridge and which houses a disk and has formed therein a second opening, corresponding to a first read/write opening in the lower shell, through which the housed disk is exposed to outside, a pair of shutter plates provided between the lower shell and rotation wheel and which operates with the rotation of the rotation wheel to uncover the first and second openings when the latter are coincide with each other, and a locking member including a locking portion installed pivotably to the upper shell and engaged in an engagement concavity in the rotation wheel to lock the rotation wheel in a position where the pair of shutter plates covers the first opening, and an unlocking portion which cancels the engagement of the locking portion in the engagement concavity.

Abstract: The optical recording medium protection cassette of the present invention comprises a housing, a clasping member and at least one switch member. A first opening for retaining an optical recording medium is formed on a first lateral side of the housing and a groove is formed on the inside of a second lateral side which is perpendicular to the first lateral side. The clasping member is in engagement with the first opening of the housing to restrict the optical recording medium to be located within the housing. The clasping member is provided with at least a first buckling portion and at least a V-shaped portion having a first side and a second side. Each switch member has a first end as a second buckling portion fastened to the first buckling portion of the clasping member, which makes the switch member rotate relative to the first buckling portion, and a second end which is a positioning portion substantially stops at either the first side or the second side of the V-shaped portion.

Abstract: A cartridge for housing a recording medium therein. The cartridge includes a cartridge body configured such that a signal recording apparatus can record a signal onto the recording medium when the cartridge is loaded in the signal recording apparatus. The cartridge also includes an opening in the cartridge body for removing the recording medium from the cartridge body, and a cover covering the opening. An indicator on the cartridge body indicates whether the cover has ever been opened or removed from the cartridge body.
