Abstract: An absorbent article is provided for absorbing a liquid, the absorbent article including a chassis including a liner, an outer cover, and an absorbent structure positioned between the liner and the outer cover, the chassis including a front region and a back region, the front region and the back region defining a waist region therebetween. The absorbent article also includes a wetness indicator positioned adjacent the liner or the outer cover, the wetness indicator including a hydrophanous tissue layer having an absorbent-structure-facing side and being in liquid communication with the absorbent structure or the liner, and an indicator material disposed between the absorbent-facing side of the tissue layer and the absorbent structure. The absorbent article can also include a film layer disposed adjacent the tissue layer, and the indicator material can include an active constituent adapted to wick along the tissue layer when the absorbent article is insulted.

Abstract: A sensor apparatus measures wet-bulb temperature. The sensor apparatus comprises a casing. A measuring device comprises a sock at its probe end. A washing unit having a fluid outlet in the casing projects a fluid on the sock to remove residue and to humidify the sock. An actuator displaces the measuring device between a washing position and a measuring position. In the washing position, the sock is in register with the washing unit in the casing. In the measuring position, the measuring device has the sock out of the casing and away from the washing unit to measure an ambient wet-bulb temperature. A method for measuring a wet-bulb temperature is also provided.
Abstract: A dry and wet bulb psychrometer consists of a first temperature sensor, a second temperature sensor, a water tank, a water absorbing member, a computing circuit and a display screen. The water absorbing member is connected to the second temperature sensor and dipped in water in the water tank. The computing circuit is electrically coupled with the first and second temperature sensors for computing a humidity value by using the temperature values sensed by the first and second temperature sensors and displaying the computed result on the display screen for reading by a user. Thus, the dry and wet bulb psychrometer is convenient for application to provide high-precision level measurement.
