  • Patent number: 9377344
Abstract: An electronic sphygmomanometer includes a cuff to be attached to a blood pressure measurement site, a pump and a valve for adjusting a pressure to apply on the cuff, a pressure sensor for detecting the pressure of the cuff, a central processing unit (CPU) for calculating a blood pressure value from the cuff pressure, a memory for recording the blood pressure value, and an operation unit for performing a blood pressure measurement. Further, the CPU acquires information on an application voltage of the valve or the pump at a time of blood pressure measurement, and the information on the application voltage is stored in the memory. The CPU corrects the application voltage so that control of the valve or the pump is carried out based on the application voltage stored in the memory.

  • Patent number: 7194910
Abstract: A method and pressure-sensor system provide a digital-frequency output linearly proportional to a sensed pressure. The system comprises a MEMS pressure-sensing element to provide a pressure-sensing output and voltage-to-frequency converter provide the digital-frequency output. The pressure-sensor system may also comprise an amplifier to provide an output voltage linearly proportional to the pressure. A temperature sensor and temperature-compensation circuitry provide a temperature-compensation signal to the amplifier to at least partially offset the effects of temperature on the system. Some embodiments of the present invention comprise a microcontroller system comprising a microcontroller and an RF transmitter. The microcontroller may receive the digital-frequency output and may generate a notification signal when the sensed pressure is inside or outside a predetermined pressure range.

Abstract: A pressure gauge having pressure range indicating needles allows the positions of the pressure range indicating needles to be moved without detaching the cover from the pressure gauge body. The pressure gauge has an internal device, a pointer, a pressure scale plate and pressure range indicating needles, which are provided in the pressure gauge body. A window hole is formed in the cover. A transparent cover plate is fitted in the window hole of the cover in such a manner as to be capable of being opened and closed. With the cover left attached to the pressure gauge body, the tip of a screwdriver or the like can be brought into contact with the pressure range indicating needles through the window hole when the transparent cover plate is open, to move the pressure range indicating needles.

  • Patent number: 4825699
Abstract: A bourdon gauge having a connection piece at the end of a bourdon tube for pivotably urging a link which in turn is connected to the arced arm of a sector plate. One end of an adjustment plate is frictionally secured and urged by an adjustment screw near the elbow of an arced arm which is on one end of the sector plate. The other end of the adjustment plate has a slot for slidably urging a rivet to move therein and simultaneously allowing the adjustment plate to turn so as to rotate the sector plate, hence allowing for adjustment of a pointer axle and needle of the bourdon gauge.

  • Patent number: 4718278
Abstract: A pressure transducer comprises a movement which has separate span and set-point calibrations. A subsequent calibration of the span does not adversely influence a previous calibration of the set-point. Sensed pressure is reflected as arcuate motion of a crank mechanism along a resistor. The span calibration is performed by adjusting the position of the resistor in relation to the crank's pivot. The pivotal mounting of the crank is provided by a pivot member disposed within a slot. Adjusters in transverse slots which intersect the pivot mounting slot act upon the pivot member to establish the set-point calibration. The transducer is especially well suited for fabrication and calibration by automated equipment.
