Each mounting means supports its bearing with a different stiffness to compensate for different loads imposed by gears that are closer to one of the bearings supporting the axle than the other. The different stiffness of each bearing mounting equalizes load-induced shifts of the position of the bearings holding the axle. Such a mounting equalizes such shifts, allowing the axles to remain substantially parallel and the gears in alignment. Abstract: A transmission assembly including a frame, driving and driven shafts, driving and driven gears and a knob is provided. The shafts are pivotally connected to the frame, and axes of the driving and driven shafts are intersected mutually. The driving gear is disposed at an end portion of the driving shaft, and the driven gear is disposed at an end portion of the driven shaft to engage with the driving gear. The knob is disposed at another end portion of the driving shaft for receiving torque to conduct the rotation of the driving and driven shafts and the driving and driven gears. When the torque is excessively large, the knob rotates against the driving gear, so the torque will not be transmitted to the gears. Moreover, when the gears are stuck, one of the driving and driven gears can move along the axis to increase backlash therebetween.

Abstract: A driveline component with a first drive member, which is rotatable about an axis, a second drive member and a clutch. The second drive member has a hub, which is supported on the first drive member for rotation about the axis, and a transmission portion. The transmission portion, which is configured to engage a flexible power transmitting member, is disposed about the hub and aligned to a transmission axis that is generally perpendicular to the axis. The clutch has a spring and a set of interleaved clutch plates having portions that are coupled for rotation with a respective one of the first drive member and the second drive member. The spring generates a force that is transmitted through the hub such that the clutch plates frictionally engage one another. The location of the transmission portion relative to the transmission axis is unaffected by wearing of the set of clutch plates.

Abstract: A driving device for an electric lock latch, comprises a housing, a motor having a power output shaft connected to a drive shaft with an external thread on a part thereof, an unequal diameter coil spring having a cylindrical spiral in the middle thereof screwing with the drive shaft, and a first and second conical spiral on both end thereof not screwing with the drive shaft, and a lock latch secured to the second conical spiral. The drive shaft is driven and rotated by a motor to pass the rotation power to the cylindrical spiral, and a rotary motion of the drive shaft is converted into a linear motion of the unequal diameter coil spring for moving the lock latch to change the locked and unlocked state of the lock device. Accordingly, the lock structure and the installation thereof may be simplified and the power-saving effect is achieved.

Abstract: An impact absorbing mechanism for absorbing impact generated upon meshing of gears by starting or stopping an electric motor, for example, in a speed reduction gear train of a disk grinder, has the problem that its ease of manufacture and the durability are lowered because small elastic components are located between a driven gear and a driven shaft when an impact absorbing action occurs in the rotational direction in the related art. The present invention is aimed to improve the ease of manufacture and the durability of the impact absorbing mechanism. It is configured to absorb impact by displacing steel balls in a diameter expanding direction by relative rotation of a driven gear and a driven shaft due to rotational power generated upon meshing and by displacing an axial displacement member in an axial direction against an axial elastic member.
