  • Patent number: 5301568
Abstract: A stick lever device including a mechanism for shifting a neutral position and capable of decreasing the number of parts of the device and facilitating the assembling. A pivotal shaft of a variable resistor mounted on a mounting member is securely mounted with a pivotal operation section including a stick lever. The mounting member is formed with two shaft holes and a support shaft of an arm member is selectively fitted in any one of the shaft holes. The pivotal operation section is provided thereon with three projections. The arm member which is urged by a spring is abutted against predetermined two of the projections depending on the position of the support shaft of the arm member, so that the neutral position of the pivotal operation section and stick lever may be shifted as desired.

  • Patent number: 5007300
Abstract: A hand controller (10) is provided with which an operator can simultaneously control several degrees of freedom of a mechanism, for example a slave arm (18), single handedly. An operator's handle (12) is connected by four links serially arranged between the handle and elements (50, 48, 46, 42) to a platform (32), these links permitting rotation about three axes (A, B, C) and linear displacement towards and away from the platform (axis Z). The platform is connected by three parallel non-telescopic legs (34) to a base (30) so that the platform (32) (and so the handle 12) can be moved in directions (X and Y) perpendicular to the Z axis. Force and torque feedback may be provided to all motions of the hand controller (10).

  • Patent number: 4795120
Abstract: A supporting apparatus for moving an attachment apparatus, such as a display apparatus, relative to a basic apparatus, such as a printing apparatus, to a desired position for an operator. A vertical shaft for supporting the display apparatus can be shifted from an engaging position to a release position by the rocking operation of an operation member around its supporting shaft through a pivot pin projecting from the bottom portion of the vertical shaft. At the release position, the vertical shaft is allowed free rotation, which in turn sets the display apparatus to the desired swivel position. At the engaging position, a swivel positioning means is enabled so as to prevent the rotation of the vertical shaft, thus fixing the display apparatus at the set swivel position.

  • Patent number: 4741222
Abstract: An improved foot-operated gearshift mechanism wherein a foot-operated pedal is operable to cause the pedal to move, generally, up or down. This movement, in turn, causes the gear-shift shaft to rotate so as to change gears. The improvement lies in providing a shifting lever assembly which has three sections. The first section is attached to the foot-operated pedal at one end and has an elbow at the other end. The second section proceeds to a second elbow.
