The H-shaped tube is further equipped with a hollow vertical pipe and connected pivotally to an inside tube through an upper and a lower bearing. A vertical handle rod is inserted internally in one upper end of the inside tube and a positioning block is connected to one lower end of the inside tube. The steering shaft pipe is driven by a horizontal handle rod via the vertical handle rod and the connecting rod. Ratios of turning angles of the horizontal handle rod and the vertical handle rod exist for saving the strength.

The bottom side has a well extending therein. The well has a diameter adapted for extendably positioning the top surface of the block member therein. The plate has an opening therein extending through the top side and into the well.

    Abstract: A composite knob having a pullout and torque resistant insert with a shaft receiving threaded socket. One embodiment of the composite knob includes a disc shaped plastic body having a central hub. A plastic insert is embedded in the central hub. A threaded socket is formed in the plastic insert. A number of radially extending ribs are formed integrally with and extend radially from the plastic insert. These ribs are triangular shaped with inclined forwardly and rearwardly facing surfaces which are embedded in the hub of the disc shaped plastic body. A decorative cover may be positioned over the front face of the disc shaped body and secured to the body with a soft flexible plastic outer covering. In another embodiment, the plastic body includes a blade shaped handle with an insert that fits within the handle. The insert is formed with laterally extending portions which are entrapped by flanges formed integrally with the plastic body.

At least one clutch is coupled with the at least one screw to limit clamping pressure on the workpiece. The clutch enables rotation of one screw with respect to the other screw so that workpieces may be clamped between the members and clamping of the workpiece may be accomplished by rotation of the screws with one hand of the operator. Also, a guard may be present which covers the transmission belt or chain.

Two of the inside spline teeth are merged to define a double-wide blocked tooth. One of the outside spline teeth is eliminated to define a substantially double-wide longitudinal blocked tooth groove. The blocked tooth has a lip extending beyond the ends of the inside spline teeth which seats on and slides over the ends of the outside spline teeth until the blocked tooth registers with the blocked tooth groove.
