    Abstract: The present invention discloses a method of photolytically developing a walnut wood color on a wood sample. The sample is contacted with a salt of an aminobenzenesulfonyl azide. The sample is thereafter exposed to a light source for an amount of time sufficient to produce a walnut wood color thereon.
