Abstract: A dyed textile article treated with tannic acid and dyed with an extract of mycelia or basidiocarps of Ganoderma lucidum. This article is produced by a process comprising contacting a substrate article of cotton, linen, silk or wool first with a pretreating bath containing tannic acid or a natural material containing tannic acid, e.g. gall, then with a mordant bath containing an alumina mordant, such as grass or wood ashes, and finally with the mycelia or basidiocarps of Ganoderma lucidum. This dyed textile article has not only a natural color and feeling, with a sufficient depth of color, but also antimicrobial and antiallergic functions.

Abstract: Transition-metal complexes of hydrazones of the formula ##STR1## wherein A and B independently of one another are isocyclic or heterocyclic aromatic radicals and D is hydrogen, are suitable for pigmenting high-molecular organic material.
Abstract: An improved sodium hydrosulfite dye reducing composition is described for reducing vat or sulfur dye in aqueous dye bath solutions, comprised of sodium dithionite, at least 1 percent sodium sulfite by weight of sodium dithionite, and stabilized by alkali metal hydroxide, the improvement characterized by including in this composition an effective surface crust inhibiting amount of an anionic surfactant selected from the group consisting of alkyl sulfates, alkyl aryl phosphate esters, N-acyl-N-alkyl taurates, .alpha.-olefin sulfonates, alkyl aryl disulfonates, dodecylated oxydibenzene sulfonates, and mixtures thereof.
Abstract: A transfer sheet comprising, in laminated combination, a substrate sheet and, provided thereabove, a coloring layer of desired pattern containing a coloring agent possessing heat transferability and a resist layer of a desired pattern containing a metal compound for resist printing and a binder, the metal compound having the capability of causing the coloring layer to lose its heat transferability, either of the coloring layer and the resist layer being nearer than the other to the substrate sheet. Because of the capability of the metal compound, the resist power is very great, whereby ample resist printing effect can be obtained with only an extremely thin resist layer.
