Pyrazolone Component Patents (Class 8/668)
  • Patent number: 8366792
Abstract: The subject of the present invention is dye composition for keratin fibers, comprising, in suitable dyeing medium, a coupler of formula (I) or addition salts thereof with an acid a particular cationic or noncationic aminopyrazolopyridine derivative. The composition of the present invention makes it possible in particular to obtain a coloring with varied, intense and/or chromatic, aesthetic and relatively nonselective shades which are highly resistant to the various attacks to which the hair may be subjected.

  • Patent number: 4234481
Abstract: The application is concerned with new pyrazolone compounds having the structure: ##STR1## wherein R is hydrogen or halogen (especially fluorine, bromine and chlorine) and R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 independently of one another are hydrogen or halogen (especially bromine and chlorine) and R.sub.3 is lower alkyl (especially methyl, ethyl, propyl and butyl). The compounds are useful in heat transfer printing of polyester fabrics and impart yellow shades thereto. The application discloses a method of making the new compounds and discusses the utilization of the compounds in the heat transfer printing of polyester fabrics, in the preparation of ink formulations, and in making transfer sheets for heat transfer printing.

  • Patent number: 4231748
Abstract: Polyester fibres are dyed in yellow and orange-red color shades with good fastness to light and wet processing when dyestuffs of the formula ##STR1## wherein K denotes the radical of a 5-amino-pyrazole coupling component which couples in the 4-position,R denotes an optionally substituted alkyl, cycloalkyl, aralkyl or aryl radical and the ring A can contain further non-ionic substitutents customary in dyestuff chemistry, are used.
