Nut Fulcrum Patents (Class 81/101)
  • Patent number: 11453112
Abstract: A wrench includes a body having a head and a handle portion defining a longitudinal axis. The wrench includes a first jaw coupled to the head with the first jaw including first teeth and an edge. The edge defines a width of the first jaw. The wrench includes a second jaw extending through an aperture of the head with the second jaw including a threaded portion and second teeth. The wrench includes an actuator coupled to the threaded portion of the second jaw such that rotation of the actuator relative to the second jaw moves the second teeth relative to the first teeth. A length is measured from the edge of the first jaw to the second end of the handle portion parallel to the longitudinal axis. A ratio of the width of the first jaw over the length is less than 0.06.

  • Patent number: 11389932
Abstract: Disclosed herein are devices, systems, and methods of an adjustable crowfoot wrench for use with large format fasteners such as bolts or hydraulic line nuts over 1 inch in size. The adjustable crowfoot wrench includes a base, a translating arm, and a gear. The translating arm include one or more fastener pads and a threaded translating shaft. The gear is configured to threadably engage the threaded translating shaft of the translating arm. The threaded translating shaft is configured to be received by and translate through a translating channel of the base. The base also includes a stationary pad, a drive aperture and gear retaining arms. The gear is retained by the gear retaining arms of the base when the gear is threadably engaged with the translating arm within the base.

  • Patent number: 11235443
Abstract: A pipe wrench includes a head having a first aperture defining a central axis. The pipe wrench includes a first jaw coupled to the head having a plurality of teeth defining a first contact region, and a second jaw partially extending through the aperture of the head having a threaded portion and a plurality of teeth defining a second contact region. The second contact region extends beyond the first contact region in a direction parallel to side surfaces of the head. The pipe wrench includes a biasing mechanism located within the first aperture to align the threaded portion of the second jaw with the central axis of the first aperture, and an actuator having threads engaged with the threaded portion of the second jaw such that rotation of the actuator moves the second contact region of the second jaw relative to the first contact region of the first jaw.

  • Patent number: 11207762
Abstract: A pipe wrench with an extendible handle is provided. The extendible handle may include a web and a flange to reduce bending stress. The pipe wrench may include a locking button that slides within a channel of the web to lock the extension handle at predetermined extended or retracted lengths. The locking button selectively enables the extension or retraction of the extension handle relative to the first handle of the pipe wrench. The locking button is biased by a spring and coupled to the extension handle with an e-clip. The body, the first handle, and/or the extension handle can include composite materials. In some embodiments, carbon fiber reinforced plastics, fiberglass reinforced plastics, and/or other reinforced polymers are used to form one or more features of the pipe wrench.

  • Patent number: 9360315
Abstract: A bubble type level for determining the orientation of a structure that includes first and second differently oriented bubble vials that are secured within the level body in a manner such that if either of the bubble vials become broken or otherwise damaged, it can be easily replaced and the level need not be discarded. The bubble type level of the invention also includes a novel thumb screw type connector mechanism that enables the level to be removably interconnected with the structures to be leveled, such as conduit. The level further includes a plurality of longitudinally spaced magnets that are connected to various surfaces of the level and a bulls-eye level that is mounted on the top surface of the level body.
