Transverse Screw Clamp Patents (Class 81/118)
  • Patent number: 11613881
Abstract: This disclosure describes a kit comprising component for removing, replacing, and/or sealing toilet parts. In some embodiments, the kit comprises a flush valve assembly, fill valve assembly, a handle assembly, two tools, two gaskets, and packaging that also serves as one or more water containers. In some embodiments, the two gaskets are two conventional gaskets that can be combined to make a third gasket. In some embodiments, the combination of the two gaskets allows the creation of a synergistic gasket for sealing a tank-to-bowl interface than neither gasket could seal individually.

  • Patent number: 11441728
Abstract: A mounting apparatus for variably displaying an item includes a clamping device including a first jaw, and a cradle, the clamping device configured to adjustably decrease a distance between the first jaw and the cradle to apply a clamping force therebetween upon an item to be displayed. A swiveling device coupled to the clamping device is configured to selectively permit and prevent swiveling adjustment of a position of the clamping device independently of the distance between the first jaw and the cradle. The swiveling device, when loosened, permits three dimensional rotation adjustments of the clamping device. A three-member cradle has a second jaw opposite the first jaw, and a pair of laterally and diagonally extending shoulders.

  • Patent number: 11413728
Abstract: A rod tightening tool includes an elongated member, a clamping assembly and a wrench attachment end. The elongated member has a semi-hollow interior and defines an opening at one end thereof providing access to the semi-hollow interior. The elongated member has a slot formed along a portion thereof that extends to the semi-hollow interior. The clamping assembly has a first member and a second member. The first member is installed for sliding movement along an exterior surface of the elongated member. The second member is installed to the first member such that the first and second members clamp to the elongated member. The wrench attachment end is fixedly attached to the elongated member.

  • Patent number: 10960519
Abstract: A pair of pliers includes a first clamping member and a second clamping member pivotally connected together. Front ends of the first and second clamping members respectively include first and second clamping sides for clamping an object therebetween. The first and second clamping sides are disposed adjacent to each other and face oppositely. The second clamping side has a first clamping portion which defines a clamping recess which extends transversely to a longitudinal direction of the second clamping side. The clamping recess has opposite first and second sides. The clamping recess has a serrated bottom side. The serrated bottom side includes a first high tooth and at least one tooth. The first high tooth has a greater depth than the at least one tooth. Tips of the first high tooth and the at least one tooth extend longitudinally between the first and second sides of the clamping recess.

  • Patent number: 9486110
Abstract: A nut disassembling device is provided, comprising an adjustment member, a support rod, a center pillar and two clamping blocks. The support rod is screwed with two tightening members. Each of the tightening members is rotatable relative to the support rod, and the clamping block is moved by the tightening member. Thus, during the clamping of the nut, the clamping blocks close and push the nut through rotation of the tightening members, and it effectively improves the clamping for installation and uninstallation of the nut.

  • Patent number: 9079298
Abstract: A socket for a socket wrench that can be adjusted to enable the socket to fit different size fasteners. The socket includes a cylindrical housing having an end wall with means on it for enabling the socket to be connected to a wrench handle. The cylindrical housing comprises an elongated interior opening and a transverse opening for receiving a pivot pin. A jaw comprising an elongated member disposed in the elongated interior opening and a second transverse opening in the jaw. A pivot pin extends through the transverse openings in the housing and the jaw so that the jaw is pivotally connected to said housing so that one of its ends can be pivoted into engagement with a fastener. A radially directed shaft is threaded through the housing and is in engagement with the jaw to bring into engagement with a fastener.

  • Patent number: 8573096
Abstract: An adapter encircles and locks around nut members of pipe unions or nuts made up on fasteners, and engages the nut member in locking contact. The adapter has strike surfaces which allow the nut member to be tightened or loosened by a hammering means, such as a hammer, mallet or sledge hammer. Thus, in the case of a pipe union, the device temporarily converts a nut union to a hammer union. The apparatus is configured to facilitate attachment of the device in tight situations, such as attaching the device to the nut member of a pipe union on a piping manifold having closely spaced parallel pipelines.
