Abstract: A fast adjustable spanner comprises a body of which an action side is provided with a protruding stationary jaw of which a bottom is formed with a glide path communicating with an accommodation slot provided in the body; a movable jaw provided with a sheath fringe corresponding to the glide path on which the adjustable jaw may transversally move, a tooth portion being provided at a bottom of the sheath fringe; a working part provided in the accommodation slot to lengthways move, a protruding joint portion being above the working part and having a screw; at least one elastic part between the working part and the accommodation slot, supporting the working part for wedging the screw to the tooth portion of adjustable jaw; thus, when being compressed with an external force, the elastic part is separate from the tooth portion of adjustable jaw for fast adjusting the movable jaw.

Abstract: An adjustable wrench and method for loosening or tightening a fastener includes a handle member having a fixed jaw segment, a substantially transverse channel therethrough, and a void in communication with the channel. Also, a movable jaw member having a serrated toothed rack that is slidably engaged within the channel. In addition, a beam that is slidably engaged within the void, the beam including a toothed rack that selectably matably engages with the movable jaw toothed rack to help secure the jaw in position. Finally, included is a trigger member that is pivotally attached to the movable jaw member and is slidably engaged with the handle member, the trigger facilitates manual movement of the movable jaw from the closed state to the open state and vice versa, when the movable jaw toothed rack and the beam toothed rack are selectively disengaged.
Abstract: A tool includes a head having a fixed jaw, a movable jaw slidably engaged in the head and movable toward and away from the fixed jaw for clamping the fastener to be driven. A handle has a portion pivotally secured to the head at a pivot shaft and has an actuation portion selectively engaged with the head via gears and a pinion to force the movable jaw toward the fixed jaw and to drive the fastener. A pin is slidably engaged in the handle for limiting a rotational movement between the handle and the head. A spring may bias the movable jaw toward the fixed jaw.
Abstract: A manually operated dental implant torque wrench has an elongated shaft assembly having a first shaft end and a second shaft end. A manually operable control device is connected to the first shaft end of the elongated shaft assembly for rotating the elongated shaft assembly. An angled housing assembly having a passageway extending from a first open end of the housing to a second open end of the housing is provided. The housing having a first portion and a second portion in an angled relationship to the first portion. A drive assembly is provided within the passageway and is operatively connected to the elongated shaft assembly. The drive assembly includes a receptacle end rotatably mounted to the second open end and adapted for attaching a dental tool thereto.
Abstract: In a wrench for use in gripping particular workpieces or hardware, such as nuts, pipe, or the like, a handle means has formed at its upward end a fixed jaw, a movable jaw slidably mounts to the shank portion of the handle means for the purpose of adjusting the setting of the wrench. The gripping surfaces of both the fixed jaw and movable jaw are arranged substantially parallel in alignment, and each of said surfaces is arranged at an acute angle of less than 90.degree. with the handle means of said wrench. The movable portion of the wrench is provided with a series of teeth or serrations that are disposed for engaging oppositely disposed teeth formed on the inner surface of the shank portion of the wrench handle, and in this manner the movable jaw may be fixed in a particular setting for gripping a particular workpiece to be manipulated.
