Abstract: A retainer removal tool for a carpet retainer of a vehicle includes a shaft portion and a handle portion. The shaft portion has a cylindrical shape and includes an engagement tip has a hollow cylindrical shape and is configured to depress a tab of the retainer in a radially inward direction to decouple an upper retainer from a lower retainer. Further, a method for removing a carpet retainer of a vehicle includes centering a retainer removal tool over the retainer, depressing the retainer removal tool onto the retainer, disengaging a tab of the retainer with the retainer removal tool, and removing the retainer from the carpet.
Abstract: A valve core removal tool can include a shaft having a proximal end and a distal end. A valve core gripper can be coupled to the distal end of the shaft and can include a first valve core engaging surface and an opposing second valve core engaging surface spaced therefrom. The first and second valve core engaging surfaces can be flexible and movable relative to each other between a first position, where the free ends of the first and second valve core engaging surfaces are spaced apart a first distance, and a second position, where the free ends of the first and second valve core engaging surfaces are spaced apart a second distance that is greater than the first distance. The first and second valve core engaging surfaces can be spring-biased in the first position for gripping a valve core between the first and second valve core engaging surfaces.
Abstract: A valve core gripper device is capable of providing a gripping and a grasping collet, that extends out of the remover end and clips onto the small ball end of a valve core, to insert or remove a valve core. This device has many uses due to available modifications including, but not limited, a tire valve, a refrigerator, and a high pressure tire valve. The device may permit the valve to receive or expel gas.
Abstract: A tool for filling a tire with a gas is provided. The tool includes: an air chuck; a shaft connected to the air chuck; a rim hook connected to the shaft; and a spring located between the shaft and the rim hook. A method of filling a tire is also provided. The method may include: connecting an air chuck to a valve stem; attaching a hook and spring assembly attached to the air chuck to a rim associated with the tire to be filled; and flowing a fluid through, the air chuck and into the valve stem.
Abstract: The present invention concerns a tire valve removal tool. The device has a body having a bore extending through the body. An internal stop is located in the body. As located in the body is an internally threaded portion for engaging the threaded portion of a valve stem. A plurality of exhaust vents are axially spaced apart along the body and are in communication with the bore. A plunger is slidably retained within the bore. The plunger has a handle at one end and a valve engaging means located at an opposing end for engaging the tire valve and rotating it for insertion or removal.
