Abstract: An easy storage precision screwdriver comprises a handle, a cover disposed on one end of the handle, a post disposed on the cover and located in the handle, a pressing ring threaded on the other end of the handle, and a working post inserted into the handle and fixed by the pressing of the pressing ring. Since the handle and the post are defined with a containing hole and a through hole respectively, when the user releases the pressing ring, the length of the working post with respect to the handle can be adjusted, and one end of the working post can be inserted into the containing hole and the through hole of the handle and the post. Thereby the precision screwdriver of the present invention is miniaturized, and is easy to store.

Abstract: The driver has a number of cartridges assembled around a central axis, engaging each other along abutting longitudinal edges. Each cartridge has its own spring-loaded mechanism for extending or retracting a bit through a central axial opening of a collar at the distal end of the tool. The mechanism translates a small movement of an actuation button into rapid and much larger movement of the bit associated with that cartridge, whether that movement is extension or retraction.

Abstract: A retainer for constraining slidable movement of a sleeve along a shaft between open and closed positions. An end cap is fixed on the sleeve's rearward end, forming a recess between the sleeve's rearward end and the end cap. The retainer is slidable in and along the sleeve. A pair of flexible, transversely opposed ribs are provided at the retainer's rearward end. A lug projects outwardly from each rib's rearward end. A spring normally biases the ribs outwardly, biasing the lugs into the recess when the sleeve is closed to retain the sleeve in the closed position. When the sleeve is closed, application of a force to move the end cap rearwardly away from the shaft compresses the lugs inwardly, compressing the ribs against the spring and overcoming the spring's outward bias, such that the lugs circumscribe a reduced circumference permitting slidable movement of the lugs through the sleeve.

Abstract: The invention is directed at a torque-enabling tool holder comprising a frame having a handle portion and a drive tool receiving portion; a plurality of tools, each having an end housed within the drive tool receiving portion; and retaining means, located within the drive tool receiving portion for receiving the end of the plurality of tools; wherein when one of the tools is rotated from a storage position to an in use position, the handle portion is used as a handle to provide an easier method for enabling torque for the tool.

The tool kit includes at least one tool, each tool being preferably provided within a tubular housing, and adapted to pivot out from the tool kit so that they can be attached to a receiving tool. The tool is designed to be returned to the tool kit after use, and if desired, switched with a different tool. In one embodiment, a surgical system permitting surgical tools to be interchanged within a patient's body is provided. A method of interchanging surgical tools within a patient's body is also provided.

An integral leaf spring on the external flange bears against the base of a blade pivotably connected to the frame outside of the channel. Other tool blades are carried inside the channel and pivot about the pivot pin.

Abstract: A socket storage arrangement for a socket wrench includes a handle having an accommodating chamber formed therein. A pending platform includes a semi-cylindrical long rod seat body which is removably insertable into the accommodating chamber. The seat body is formed with a plurality of separated slot seats each having a different dimension for respectively accommodating a different sized socket. The seat body further includes a plurality of projecting pivoting pieces, each being formed on a side wall of a respective slot seat. Each projecting pivoting piece projects radially into the accommodating chamber, and presses against a respective socket received within the respective slot seat, to retain the socket within the slot seat.

Abstract: A tool shaft and tool bit arrangement is disclosed to include a hollow shaft, which has a hexagonal through hole through the two ends to accommodate a number of tool bits in a line, a locating block held down by a clamp in a radial through hole near the front end of the shaft to hold down the first tool bit, a steel ball held down by a clamp in a radial through hole near the rear end of the shaft to hold down the last tool bit, and a grip fixedly fastened to the periphery of the rear end of the shaft.

Abstract: A screw driver for housing and supplying bits has a housing with a elongate tube extending through the housing along the axis to a forward presentation end of the tube at which the bits are presented for use. The housing has a rotatable storage holder mounted in the housing for holding and storing a plurality of tool bits and arranged by manual engagement with an exposed side portion to rotate about a second axis parallel to the tube. A plunger carried on an end cap with a hexagonal sleeve has a flat magnetic bit carrying face at the forward end and receives a cooperating portion of the housing as a sliding fit. The holder is removable by pressing an ejection button on an opposite face of the housing and has a magnet which holds the bits in place. The plunger is restricted against free sliding movement by a friction head which presses against the side of the plunger.

The hand tool includes eight tool implements positioned on four reversible tool couplings. Each one of the four tool couplings are received by an end of one of two reversible servant couplings. The two servant couplings are each received by an end of a master coupling. The master coupling is received by a threaded insert. The insert is then received by a handle. The handle includes a retractable rotary head key for extracting a rotary sprinkler head, a releasable clamp, and a sprinkler nozzle adjustment mechanism for adjusting the spray pattern of a sprinkler nozzle.

Abstract: A hand-held power tool having a housing and an open top tray attached thereto is disclosed. The open top tray is oriented generally perpendicular to a handle axis for carrying small magnetic objects therein. Additionally, the tray is provided with a magnetic portion for retaining the small magnetic objects when the handle is inclined from a vertical position. Thus, the present invention allows small magnetic objects such as tool bits, drill bits, and fasteners to be carried on the hand-held power tool for quick and easy access by an operator.

The first tubular body is rotatable about the circular axis of the main body. The first tubular body is partially overlaid on the flutes. The geometric central axis of the profile of inner circumference of the first tubular body does not coincide with the circular axis of the main body. A user can selectively insert an L-shaped multiangular wrench into one of the flutes and the first tubular body.

In the preferred embodiment of the tool handle, three of its outer surface faces have a continuous holding slot with multiple receiving holes for inserting therein hexagonal wrenches of multiple sizes. The continuous holding slots of the preferred embodiment of the handle include multiple contoured compartments for holding an inserted hexagonal wrench. Each contoured compartment is formed about a corresponding receiving hole. A lock is positioned over the contoured compartment to irremovably confine the short leg of the hexagonal wrench within the contoured compartment.

Retracting the shaft within the housing of the tool causes the bit to be ejected from the distal end of the shaft and transported through an opening in the tool housing to the rotatable bit cartridge. The bit cartridge is then rotated to retrieve another bit and the shaft is then extended to transport the new bit through the opening in the housing and into alignment with the bit holder of the shaft. The shaft is further extended to engage the bit and extend the bit to an operative position outside of the tool housing. Example hand tools include a screwdriver and a power drill.

Abstract: The foldable driver tool having a handle with an outer wall and a plurality of pockets in the outer wall with each pocket adapted to receive a driver. The driver has a bit portion, a shaft portion and a rear portion. The handle has a head assembly at one end which is made up of a plurality of spaced extensions extending from the outer wall. The spaced extensions form spaces therebetween which are coextensive with the pockets. A front cap having a front wall and a skirt extending rearwardly therefrom is mounted over the head assembly so that the skirt overlies the spaced extensions. A slot is provided in the front wall and an opening is provided in the skirt with the two being coextensive with each other.
