Abstract: The invention relates to an exchange device (30) for grip heads (20) comprising a plurality of clamping jaws (21), consisting of a carrier plate (31) having a borehole (32). Pivoting arms (33) are axially staggered in relation to the carrier plate (31) and are concentrically arranged in relation to the borehole (32). Said pivoting arms are articulated by means of a joint (34) in such a way that they can be pivoted in a plane containing the axis (37) of the borehole. The pivoting movement is thus carried out radially in relation to the axis of the borehole. Coupling elements (35) are arranged on the pivoting arms (33), by which means the exchange device (30) can be coupled to the clamping jaws (21) of the grip head (20) and detached from the same.
Abstract: A tool which may be used to remove staples having a first and second pivotably connected elements having parallel, spaced-apart members, the second of which is at least partially disposed in the first and has a tongue with a removable concave, bevelled tip and is pivotably connected to a lever and a gripping bar which is parallelpipedic with an S-shape having a striated, convex lower end which is spring biased into contact with each other so that when the tongue is inserted under the head of the staple and a pressure exerted on the lever it causes the means for gripping to pivot until its convex end comes into contact with the head of the staple which is pinched against the tongue and removed without being deformed.
Abstract: A hand seaming tool for use during original installation or re-roofing of roof panels of a building. A pair of main body elements, a pair of interconnected intermediate body elements, handle structure, limit structure, and an anvil head and forming bar all cooperate to permit an operator and user of the device to perform double seaming of the edge flanges of adjacent roof panels. Preferably, such operation occurs during initial starting of the double seaming and/or the final completion of such double seaming operation. A motorized roof seamer is normally used for the intermediate portion between the beginning and ending double seamed areas.
Abstract: First and second work-engaging members grip an elongated member normal to its major axis while a third work-engaging member moves an element axially along the elongated member. The first and second work-engaging members are on first and second levers which rotate in a first plane and the third work-engaging member is on a lever pivotally connected to the first and second levers for rotation in a second plane substantially normal to the first plane.
