Abstract: A tool system controls and prevents gaps during processing of assemblies at elevated temperature. Gaps are prevented from arising at joints between components during temperature changes. The tool system includes a lever arm having a body, a connection configured to allow the body to pivot, a cam surface defined by the body and configured to engage the second component, and a weight arm extending from the body and over the second component. In response to movement of the second component, the lever arm is configured to pivot at the connection while the weight arm is configured to generate a force transferred through the body to the second component to maintain contact at the joint between the first component and the second component. A rod may be connected with the lever arm for added weight.

Abstract: A standing clip for supporting an object in an upright position includes a flexible grip having an upper lever arm, a lower lever arm, and first and second support legs. The first support leg extends from the upper lever arm at a second end of the flexible grip, and the second support leg extends from the lower lever arm at the second end of the flexible grip. The first and second support legs include complimentary clamping surfaces configured for clamping the object therebetween, and are spaced apart from each other by a gap. The flexible grip is depressible from a first state in which the gap is a first size to a second state in which the gap is a second size. The first and second support legs are oriented substantially vertically in the second state to clamp and suspend the object above a desired surface.

Abstract: A clamping device includes first and second clamping components and at least one elastic component. The first and second clamping components include first and second rear portions and first and second front portions pivoted to each other respectively. The first and second rear portions are pivoted to each other. The elastic component connects the first and second clamping components. The first and second clamping components rotate, with respect to each other, to a first state due to an elastic force of the elastic component so that the first and second front portions have a first distance. Abstract: A medical waste fluid collection and disposal system includes a medical waste fluid collection cart including first and second fluid collection canisters. A valve assembly selectively communicates with the canisters and a valve drive system controls the valve assembly. A liquid level sensor is positioned within each of the canisters. A cart processor communicates with the liquid level sensors and the valve drive system. A cart drain line communicates with the valve assembly and a receptacle, a cart flushing line communicates with the valve assembly and the receptacle and a cart data line and a cart power line communicate with the cart processor and the cart receptacle. A handle on the clamp locks into a pinching position and can be released by opposite motion of the handle. Various attachments to the clamp housing can be used for holding different objects. The clamp has adjustable jaw positions for adjustable pinch strengths. The jaws are biased together when not engaging the strut to allow easy access to the strut for engaging the strut lips or removing the clamp from the strut. Use of the clamp allows one man to install pipes faster safer and easier and without the aid of a helper.

The links not only extend the length of the jaw side of the pliers, but also pivot relative to each other and perpendicular to the opening and closing direction of the pliers. The screws in these links can be left untightened to permit the links to pivot allowing the jaws to gain access into restricted areas otherwise inaccessible. Even with the link-screws loose the gripping force is transferred through the links to the jaws enabling the user to still grip objects or even retrieve them by simply pulling the pliers back out and letting the links follow. An additional aspect to the flex-link pliers is that the link-screws can be tightened so the links maintain their position relative to each other so the user can create any shape pliers desired.
