Abstract: A self-clamping torque adapter comprises a tool base, a central hub, a plurality of clamps, and a cam actuator mechanism. The tool base has a central axis and the central hub is rotatably coupled to the tool base and configured to rotate relative to the tool base about the central axis. The central hub comprises a torque input member configured to receive a torque input. The plurality of clamps are slidably coupled to the tool base, and configured to displace bi-directionally along a radial axis. The cam actuator mechanism couples each of the plurality of clamps to the central hub. Rotation of the central hub relative to the tool base causes the cam actuator mechanism to move each of the plurality of clamps in a radial direction.
Abstract: An oil filter removal tool used for removing seized filters from internal combustion engines. Additionally, the oil filer removal tool is designed to provide various method of applying a torque to an oil filter. To achieve this the tool has a gripper mechanism, a tool engagement mechanism, an annular clamp, and a plurality of protective covers. The gripper mechanism is able to grasp onto the oil filter. Additionally, the tool engagement mechanism is permanently integrated onto the gripper mechanism. This enables the user to apply a higher torque to the oil filter housing, thus removing even seized filters without damaging the oil filter itself. Similarly, the plurality of protective covers is positioned between the gripper mechanism and the oil filter to provide an additional layer of protection, if the user chooses to install the oil filter removal tool onto the new filter for the next oil change.
Abstract: This tool substantially extends in a general plane (XY) and comprises: —at least one working head (12, 13) intended to cooperate with the fastener; —a handle (14) which is integral with the or each working head; the handle extending along a longitudinal axis (X-X) and comprising a linear portion (15) and at least one connection portion (16, 17) which connects the or each working head to the linear portion, the linear portion of the handle having a section transverse to the longitudinal axis (X-X) which comprises a relatively large transverse dimension substantially parallel with the general plane of the tool (XY) perpendicular to the longitudinal axis (X-X), and a relatively small dimension perpendicular to the general plane of the tool (XY). The large dimension and the small dimension of the transverse section are changing along the longitudinal axis. Use in flat wrenches, combination wrenches and ring wrenches.

Abstract: A grasping device comprising a grasping assembly coupled to a shaft adapted to fit into a drill chuck is described. Embodiments of the grasping device are capable of grasping objects such as a screw head, a bolt head, a hex nut, a wing nut, a hook, or other irregularly shaped objects, so that such objects can be turned by an electric drill, lathe, or similar machine tool.
Abstract: Disclosed is a spanner which is generally used as a typical tool for tightening or releasing a bolt. The spanner is capable of tightening or releasing a bolt continually in one direction by the effect of a toggle bar (400) pivotally mounted on a jaw of two jaws (200, 300) of the spanner head in a state that the toggle bar is urged to pivot toward one direction. A protrusion (30, 32) is formed on a distal end of the other jaw of the spanner head for gripping an angular portion of the bolt head so that it is possible to prevent the spanner head being readily disengaged from the bold head.
Abstract: A spanner includes an upper jaw, a handle, a lower jaw, and a resilient member. The upper jaw includes an upper jaw portion, and a pivot portion, and has a front pivot hole and a rear pivot hole both of which extend through the pivot portion. The handle has a connection end extending into the pivot portion and pivoted to the upper jaw at the rear pivot hole. The lower jaw has a lower jaw portion, a tail portion, and an insert part projecting into the pivot portion of the upper jaw. The insert part is pivoted to the upper jaw at the front pivot hole. The resilient member is disposed between the tail portion and the connection end to bias the tail portion away from the connection end so that the lower jaw portion is biased toward the upper jaw portion.
Abstract: A combination tool for assembling and dismantling a lock nut includes a middle column, two clamping blocks, a guide rod, and two links. Thus, the two clamping blocks, the two links and the middle column are interconnected with each other and are moved in concert with each other, so that the distance between the two clamping blocks can be adjusted rapidly and arbitrarily, thereby facilitating the user operating the combination tool.
