Having Hydraulic Actuator Patents (Class 82/11.5)
  • Patent number: 11987949
Abstract: A method for machine operator command attenuation includes the step of detecting a position of a boom, stick, and bucket of a hydraulic implement of a construction machine. Movement of the stick is detected by a controller. The controller determines if the movement of the stick will cause excavation below a desired grade. If the movement will not cause excavation below a desired grade, the controller will take no action. If the movement will cause excavation below a desired grade, the controller will command the boom to raise.

  • Patent number: 7823488
Abstract: The invention discloses a device and a method for producing microstructures with a spindle, which is adapted to be driven for rotation about its longitudinal axis and which is provided with a fixture for clamping a workpiece, having an actuator provided with a fast drive, in particular a piezo drive, adapted to produce fast movement of a tool in a direction substantially perpendicular to the workpiece surface, which actuator can be positioned along a workpiece surface to be worked with the aid of an additional drive adapted to produce a linear feed motion in a first direction, the fast drive being coupled with the tool via guide means that allow feeding of the tool in axial direction of the fast drive, against the action of a restoring force, and that is highly rigid in a plane perpendicular to that direction. The control technology used permits microstructures to be produced precisely and reproducibly utilizing the dynamic properties of the system.

  • Patent number: 7290999
Abstract: A die plate for an extruder is coupled directly to a fluid-driven motor on one side and to an extruder on the other side. Suitable fluid inlet and outlet passages are formed in the die plate to supply the motor with fluid and withdraw fluid. A cutter assembly includes a housing to receive the motor within and is coupled for rotation to an output shaft from the motor, so that in use blades mounted on the housing are caused to rotate into the path of extrudate and to sever it.

  • Patent number: 6227082
Abstract: The invention pertains to a special process and devices for the production preferably by machining of workpieces with non-circular outer and inner contours such as squares, hexagons, ellipses, polygons and the like, or eccentric circular bores and/or tappets. In the claimed process, the workpiece is rotated at constant angular velocity while a tool (e.g. the blade of a lathe tool) set eccentrically in relation to the workpieces if moved without rotating about is own axis at controllable speed in a circular path, workpiece and tool being moved towards one another in cycles with the appropriate advance. This ensures that apart from a small cuttings volume far each advance, very narrow tolerances can be set.
