Abstract: It is an object of the invention to provide a dust collecting circular saw in which cooling air to cool the motor can be further effectively utilized. According to the present invention, a representative dust collecting circular saw may comprise a blade, a motor, a cooling fan, a dust case, a dust case cover and an air space between the dust case cover and the dust case. The cooling air to cool the motor is designed to be introduced into the air space. Therefore, according to the invention, heat of the dust case caused by hot chips collected within the dust case can be prevented from being transferred from the dust case to the dust case cover by the air space into which the cooling air is introduced. Thus, the user of the circular saw can securely be escaped from contacting any circular saw members heated by the hot chips within the dust case.

  • Patent number: 7024976
Abstract: Pieces are cut out from a sheet material by means of an installation comprising a cutting-out table (12) receiving the sheet material (30) from a loading station (12), and an unloading station (16) for unloading cut-out pieces. A flexible sealing film (32) is brought onto the sheet material upstream from the cutting-out table, and it is applied by establishing suction at the surface of the cutting-out table. After cutting-out, at least the skeleton (32?) of the sealing film is separated at the downstream end of the cutting-out table in order to be recovered. The recovery is preformed by automatic winding-up outside the unloading station, it being possible to deposit fastenings on the sealing film so that they straddle the cutting-out lines, or else said recovery is performed by sucking up the fragments of sealing film by means of a rotary member bearing against the sheet material.

  • Patent number: 7011004
Abstract: A membrane/electrode assembly trimming apparatus (10) made up of a lower trimming die (14) on which a membrane/electrode assembly (65) is set, an upper trimming die (16) having a trimming blade (15) and a pressing member (17) which is ascend/descendably suspended from this upper trimming die and suction-holds a carbon electrode (12). A membrane/electrode assembly carrying apparatus (72) including a pressing member which suction-grips a carbon electrode and prevents it from slipping sideways is also disclosed. Because the certainty of the positioning, fixing and trimming of the membrane/electrode assembly at the time of trimming is raised and positional slipping of the trimmed membrane/electrode assembly during carrying can be prevented, the performance of the fuel cell improves.

  • Patent number: 7000515
Abstract: A sawdust collection hood for a table saw. The hood has an identical pair of vertical, spaced-apart side panels, an upper cowl mounted between the side panels, a canted nose panel mounted between front portions of the side panels, and a lower cowl that extends rearwardly between the side panels below the upper cowl from a forward edge of the lower cowl disposed over a trailing edge of the nose panel. A pair of side skirts suspended from each of the side panels, extend rearwardly from the nose panel, and are movable between a raised and a lowered position. When placed upon the saw work table, straddling the saw blade, and with side skirts lowered, a work piece moved rearward against the canted nose panel causes the hood to rise.

  • Patent number: 6968764
Abstract: A cleaning device for a continuous loop band blade food processing machine. A pair of scrapers is positioned on, and seated against, opposite sides of the blade for scraping matter from the blade as it passes between the scrapers. The scrapers are biased against the blade. The upper scraper has an axis that is transverse to the blade's axis, and the blade can be removed by loosening the screw attaching the upper scraper and pivoting the scraper about the screw. The edge of the upper scraper is transverse to the blade's axis to cause scraped matter to flow toward a deflector panel that guides air and scraped matter into a vacuum inlet which is positioned near the edges of each scraper.

  • Patent number: 6938529
Abstract: A flap projecting from a glue joint between two paper strips after an on-the-fly supply roll change is shortened by continuously displacing the strips in a straight line, in a travel direction, and at a travel speed along a path such that the flap lies flatly against an outer face of the strips and engaging at least a part of a separating device against the outer face in the path. At least the part of the separating device engaging the strip is displaced in the travel direction at a speed greater than the travel speed such that, when the separating device engages the flap, the flap is bowed out away from the outer face downstream of the separating device. A blade is juxtaposed with the outer face of the strip immediately downstream of the separating device such that the bowed out flap engages and is cut by the blade.
