Abstract: Embodiments of a cable-winding apparatus are described herein. The apparatus may include one or more of a securing surface, a cable-winding channel, a coil spring, and a ratchet mechanism. The cable-winding channel may be rotatably connected to the securing surface. The channel may include a base and two or more walls extending at least partially perpendicularly from the base along opposite sides of the base. The ratchet mechanism may include one or more of a first face gear and a second face gear. The first and second face gears may each include a plurality of ratchet teeth. The spring may force the channel away from the securing surface. The ratchet teeth may prevent rotation of the channel with respect to the securing surface in a first direction while permitting rotation of the channel with respect to the securing surface in a second direction opposite the first direction.

Abstract: A paper dispenser dispenses paper sheet by sheet. Paper projects from a dispenser housing in an operational position so that it can be pulled off from a supply roll by hand. The paper dispenser has a delivery roller driven by the web of paper that is being pulled. A stop which is moved from a rest position to a blocked position against the force of a return spring blocks the rotation of the delivery roller so that the sheet is torn off due to the pulling power, and is slowed down by a braking device when returning to the rest position. A post-delivery device is configured to further drive the delivery roller once the sheet has been torn off and completes the rotation in a time-delayed manner so that the paper projects from the dispenser housing and can be pulled again.
Abstract: An adjustable foam insertion machine capable of inserting foam spacers of a user desired length into channels of cabinetry frames or other types of channels. The apparatus has a frame, a foam material feed, a foam material cutter assembly, a foam material holder, a foam material inserter, and a controller which controls and coordinates the operation of the aforesaid. The apparatus utilizes rolls of foam material, cuts them to a user desired length of foam spacer, and inserts the foam spacers pursuant to a user input. The apparatus is capable of quick, safe, and repeated foam spacer insertion without the requirement of a user feeding or utilizing pre-cut spacers or inserts.
Abstract: A two cycle cutter assembly for severing the end of a multiconnector flexible cable. The assembly employs an air cylinder to supply a down stroke to a guillotine carbide upper blade as a prescribed length of cable is presented between the upper blade and a fixed lower blade.
Abstract: A device for feeding a ribbon of sausage support loops into a clip attachment apparatus is attached to the clip attachment apparatus and includes a body member with a guide track for directing the ribbon of loops from a storage reel to the clip apparatus. A reciprocating piston operated drive pin engages the ribbon to incrementally drive the ribbon forward into position for attachment of a single loop to a sausage casing. A knife separates the single loop from the ribbon upon attachment of the loop to the sausage casing by the clip apparatus. Subsequently, the drive pin is disengaged from the ribbon and is reversibly driven into position for re-engagement and further advancement of the ribbon. The movement of the drive pin and knife is controlled by a cam track in the body member.
