  • Patent number: 7155938
Abstract: In the method for loading a glass processing installation (5) with loading portions (10a), glass plates (10, 10b) are extracted repeatedly from a storage unit (20) in a predetermined sequence and divided into a residual portion (10b), which is stored in the storage unit, and a loading portion (10a), which is delivered to the glass processing installation. It is thereby possible to selectively load the glass processing unit with portions of glass plates of certain dimensions and of a determined sort. The device for loading a glass processing installation comprises a storage unit (20) with at least two compartments (21), each compartment being capable of receiving at least one glass plate (10, 10b), and displacing means for displacing a glass plate in a compartment at least partially out of the compartment.

  • Patent number: 5287781
Abstract: A novel dough feeding, cutting and depositing apparatus is provided herein. It includes a pivotally-mounted feed tray. Means are provided on the feed tray for gripping a continuous dough sheet and for advancing it forwardly along the feed tray to the downstream end of the feed tray. Means are provided for cutting a discrete sheet of dough from a continuous dough sheet overlapping the end of the feed tray, and for depositing such discrete sheet of dough on a sheet of dough tray station. Means are provided for moving the upstream end of the feed tray upwardly to its maximum "up" position for the duration of the time the continuous dough sheet is being advanced forwardly along the feed tray. Means are provided for moving the upstream end of the feed tray downwardly to its maximum "down" position for the duration of the time the means for cutting is effecting the cutting of the continuous dough sheet into a discrete sheet of dough.

  • Patent number: 4665785
Abstract: A multiple station sequentially operating trim press is arranged to receive workpieces for subsequent transfer from a loading station to a treatment station by means of a pivotally mounted workpiece support. After trimming and deburring, the workpiece is transferred to a collection station and the workpiece support is moved to a cleaning station where its surface is washed free of residual trimmings. The workpiece support is then returned to its loading station and the sequence repeated.

  • Patent number: 4653365
Abstract: A punching method and apparatus for forming through holes by punching in a ceramic green sheet for use as a material of a laminated substrate. Not only the positioning of the work but also the driving of the upper die set are conducted by of servomotors with the speed and timing of operation of the servomotors being controlled in accordance with a prestored program in a microcomputer, so as to attain a high speed and efficiency of operation. In addition, a hole clearing operation is conducted immediately after the punching so that the chip remaining in the punched through hole, if any, is forced out from the through hole by the same punch used in the punching operation.

  • Patent number: 4607558
Abstract: This machine is more particularly designed to make a series of slits across the external surface of a tire rethread band. The band is moved step-by-step by a conveyor belt; a guillotine-type blade is reciprocated up-and-down over the band supported by the conveyor belt and effects a slit in the band when the conveyor is stopped; the depth of the slits can be adjusted; the inclination of the slits with respect to the longitudinal axis of the band can be varied; the distance between the slits can be adjusted by varying the stroke of the belt advancing mechanism; the conveyor belt has an outer anti-skid surface and the tire rethread band is applied against the same by spring-biased pressure rollers which accommodate tire rethread bands of various thicknesses.

  • Patent number: 4528882
Abstract: A piece of carpet is placed in a press equipped with a cutting tool and with a plate through which pattern on the carpet can be viewed when the plate overlies the carpet. The position of the plate relative to the cutting tool is accurately controlled and the plate can be moved away from the piece of carpet prior to cutting of the latter. The plate has indicating means which can be aligned visually with selected elements of the pattern of the carpet by manual adjustment of the latter to enable the carpet to be cut at predetermined positions with respect to the pattern.
