Abstract: Cutting of a corrugated fin into predetermined lengths for a radiator in a vehicle. The phase mating is, when the cutter is moved in the direction opposite to the corrugated member, effected at the correcting point where the torque in the cutter is the same as the torque at a cutting point where the corrugated member is moved synchronizingly with the cutter. Thus, automatic phase mating is effected, thereby causing the fin to be cut precisely at a trough of the fin.

Abstract: A device for cutting a hole out of a moving web such as plastic film comprising a suction cup for pulling the film against a vacuum source, terminating in a knife edge contained within the suction cup to cut the hole out of the film.

Abstract: A device for severing a continuous rod-like member into separate elements during axial movement along a predetermined path through a severance zone comprising a ledger for engaging and maintaining said member in said path during its passage though said zone, means for causing a cutting knife to move along an endless course substantially at right angles to said path, and said course intersecting transversely with said path to sever the member and means for causing the knife to move at a greater speed while it is travelling across said path than in other parts of its movement.

C, to the simultaneous action of at least two punching members in one or in two corrugations.A device comprising a guide for corrugated plastic tube, and punching means with an operating member for simultaneously acting upon at least two punching members spaced a short distance from each other.
