Abstract: A cutting implement has a body with a top and a bottom and one or more blades extending outwardly of the bottom and defining a closed cutting path. In one embodiment, the implement has a cutting depth control. The cutting implement is particularly useful in cutting sections of wall covering. In accordance with a method, the cutting implement is located adjacent a wall covering so that the blade(s) surround a damaged portion of the covering. Force applied to the top of the implement drives the blade(s) into the covering, creating a severed portion including the damaged area. The severed portion is removed and is preferably replaced by a replacement section of the same size cut with the implement from replacement wall covering.
Abstract: The invention provides an apparatus for preparing a fluid for a medical procedure by mixing of at least one medicament in the form of powder with water, the medicament is held in a vessel which defines a bottom, a side wall, and a top opening which is closed by an membrane for sealing the inside of the vessel. The apparatus includes an opener for opening the membrane of the vessel.

Abstract: A metal working machine (10) is disclosed according to the preferred form including a punching station (48) associated with a first crank arm (18) pivotably mounted to the frame (12) by a first pivot pin (20) and including multiple shearing stations (50a-e) associated with a second crank arm (26) pivotably mounted to the frame (12) by a second pivot pin (28). A link (36) has its opposite ends pivotably mounted by pivot pins (38, 40) to the first and second crank arms (18, 26), respectively. An expandable and contractable actuator (42) having its opposite ends pivotably mounted by pivot pins (44, 46) to the first and second crank arms (18, 26) simultaneously pivots the crank arms (18, 26) about the first and second pivot pins (20, 28) in opposite directions. The pivot pins (20, 28, 38, 40, 44, 46) are spaced from and parallel to each other.
