Abstract: A base for manual candy block cutter includes a cutting platform. The cutting platform has a side to which a measuring rack with a scale marking section is mounted. The measuring rack has a side that is away from the cutting platform and is provided, in a slidable manner, with cutting stop board. The cutting platform is provided with a cutter seat at the side adjacent to the measuring rack. The cutter seat has a side that is away from the cutting platform and is provided with a cutter pivoted to an end thereof. A cutter retainer is provided to extend both the cutter and the cutter seat. In a cutting operation, the cutting stop board is moved to align a marking of the scale marking section and an object to be cut is positioned against the cutting stop board in order to control the size of a cut piece.
Abstract: A method for adjusting a height of a circular slitter blade includes rotating the slitter blade and the receiving roll such that an outer circumferential surface of the slitter blade and the receiving roll move in the same direction as the traveling direction of the corrugated board web; emitting a light beam in a width direction of the corrugated board web to pass through a contact point of the outer circumferential surface of the receiving roll with the corrugated board web; determining a height of the slitter blade at which the circular outer edge of the slitter blade intercepts the light beam while moving the slitter blade toward the receiving roll; and setting the height of the slitter blade to the determined height as a slitting position.
Abstract: A tool holder (10, 10?) for shearing machines, especially of the longitudinal type, suitable for processing on paper, cardboard, plastic films, various laminates, aluminium, fabric, non woven, fibreglass, carbon fibre and the like, including a blade holder head provided with a preferably circular blade (12), partially protected by a casing (14) and rotatably connected to an elastically deformable arm (16) and to a bar (18) sliding according to a vertical direction, a further protection element for the same blade defined by a shaped plate (20) provided with a through opening (22), at least one piston (30, 32) for the up/down movement of the blade holder, with said bar (18) and said at least one piston (30, 32) arranged and moved in a chamber (23) of a support body (24), the tool holder further includes an element suitable for allowing an anti-rotation of the bar (18) with zero clearance, an adjustment of the shearing angle, an axial adjustment of the same bar and of the down stroke of the tool or blade (12).
Abstract: A thin plate cutting die has on a front surface a closed cutting edge confining an enclosed area and in a back surface a recess. An air-passage through hole is situated within the enclosed area is opening into the recess, and a positioning indication is established for establishing a correct position of the thin plate cutting die. A cylinder for magnetically holding the thin plate cutting die has at least one longitudinal channel extending longitudinally and internally in the cylinder for transferring air, at least one outlet channel extending from the longitudinal channel and opening into a thin plate die receiving surface, and a positioning indication for establishing a correct position of a thin plate cutting die on the receiving surface.
Abstract: Disclosed is a method and a device for adjusting the height of a slitter blade wherein the quality at a slitting section of a cardboard web is ensured in a slitter device by finding an optimal engaging point of a receiving roll and a slitter blade, and setting of the engaging point can be achieved easily by a simple and low cost mechanism.
Abstract: An apparatus and method for severing twine from a bale supported by one or more grapple arms and bucket of a tractor is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a slide bar mounted to at least one grapple arm, the tines, or the bucket. The slide bar has a first end and a second end, and a blade riding on the slide bar, the blade oriented on the slide bar so that the blade contacts portion of the twine as the blade moves along the slide bar. A motor coupled to the blade for controllably moves the blade along the slide bar. The motor can be a reversible dc motor controllable by a switch, or a hydraulic motor. The twine about the bale can be cut without the need for the farmer to leave the driver's compartment of the tractor.
