Systematic Variations Patents (Class 84/47)
  • Patent number: 7555291
Abstract: A mobile wireless communication terminal includes a wireless communication module and a controller. The wireless communication module is configured to communicate with other communication terminals over a wireless interface. The controller is configured to establish a connection with a participant wireless communication terminal via the wireless communication module, to maintain a play list representing song files to be played, to receive a participant song identification from the participant wireless communication terminal, wherein the participant song identification corresponds to a participant song file stored on the participant wireless communication terminal, to add the participant song identification to the play list, and to thereafter execute playback of the song files represented by the play list, including retrieving the participant song file from the participant wireless communication terminal for playback.

  • Publication number: 20030000364
Abstract: A method for teaching stringed instrument students how to play sheet music through the use of colored fingering numbers. This method assists the user in knowing which finger to use on which string as they play instrumental music. It also indicates which position their hand should be in as they play sheet music. Numbers correspond to which finger should be used to play a particular note. Separate, distinctly identifiable colors are assigned to notes that should be played on a particular string in a particular position, and are visually displayed as colored fingering numbers that indicate which string and in which position the user should play the fingered notes on.

  • Patent number: 5357047
Abstract: Converting method comprising a detecting step for detecting a movement of an action of a piano, calculating step for calculating playing data depending on the movement of the action, correcting step for correcting at least string-striking intensity data in the automatic playing data based on the compared result playing data, recording step for recording the corrected data as the automatic playing data. Furthermore, converting device comprises detecting member for detecting a position of a hammer, calculating member for calculating playing data depending on a position of a hammer, correcting member for correcting the playing data, recording member for recording the corrected data, and driving member for driving a key. The method and device compensates the errors of playing data resulted by a difference of a piano's type or by changing shape of parts in an action, because data is corrected by ratios of lengths of the parts of the piano.
