Abstract: According to one embodiment, a booklet page turning apparatus includes a guide member which is provided near a vacuum pad to freely project/retreat from a plane corresponding to the suction surface of the vacuum pad, the guide member moving integrally with the vacuum pad and coming into contact with a page of a booklet at the page turning position to regulate rising of the page.
Abstract: A music page turning apparatus is disclosed. One embodiment provides a music page turning apparatus for fit to an existing music platform or the like. Another embodiment provides a complete music stand equipped with the apparatus. The control is remotely locatable from the motor unit such that foot control is invited in turning the pages either forwardly or in reverse. Each depression of the forward or the reverse switch turns one page.
Abstract: An apparatus for automatically turning a page of a book comprises a casing 10 on which a music book 5 can be placed in an opened state; a page holding means 40 which is installed within the casing 10 and holds a page 6 of the opened music book 5 to be turned and a turned page 7 thereof; a page turning means 50 which is installed within the casing 10 to turn a page of the opened music book; a driving member 60 for driving the page holding means 40 and the page turning means 50, a manipulation member 110 for manipulating operations of the driving member 60, and a control unit 130 for controlling the operations of the driving member 60 for turning a relevant page of the music book 5 placed on the casing 10, in response to signals from the manipulation portion 110.
Abstract: A page-turning device comprises a bi-directional drive and a page-turning unit including an arm of crescent shape having an outer convex surface engageable with the underface of the uppermost page on one side of the book center-line for turning same when the unit is driven in one direction, and an inner concave surface engageable with the uppermost page on the other side of the book center-line for turning the page when the unit is driven in the opposite direction. The unit preferably has two (or more) such arms equally spaced about the circumference of the unit. The illustrated device includes two of such page-turning units, one serving to turn the pages and the other serving to pick them up according to the drive direction. Each unit may include a helical recess for pre-loading the pages, or an arcing finger for arcing each page before being engaged by the respective arm.
Abstract: A first horizontal elongated plate has a longitudinally extending slot therein. Each of a plurality of vertical L shaped members has a bottom horizontal leg disposed at right angles to the slot and an upwardly disposed vertical leg. Each of a like plurality of soft yieldable elements is manually slidable in the slot, each horizontal leg extending through a corresponding element and overlying the top surface of said first plate. A second horizontal plate is secured to the top surface of the first plate, said vertical legs being disposed adjacent one edge of the second plate, said first and second plates having regions spaced apart to permit said members to be slid back and forth along the slot. A third horizontal plate is secured to the first plate remote from said members, adjacent parallel edges of said second and third plates being spaced apart to define an opening parallel to said slot through which said vertical legs extend.
