Abstract: According to one embodiment, a booklet handling apparatus includes a take in unit to take in a booklet in a closed state, a conveying unit to convey the booklet taken in by the take in unit to a predetermined position in a first direction, a page turning unit to turn, about a stitch of the booklet, a back cover of the booklet conveyed to the predetermined position by the conveying unit, a push up unit to push up a front cover of the booklet pivoting about the stitch thereof by rotating a push up cam arranged in contact with the front cover of the booklet, a support unit to support the front cover pushed up by the push up unit, and a folding unit to fold the front cover by conveying the booklet in a second direction opposite to the first direction from the predetermined position using the conveying unit while the support unit supports the front cover.
Abstract: According to one embodiment, a booklet page turning apparatus includes a guide member which is provided near a vacuum pad to freely project/retreat from a plane corresponding to the suction surface of the vacuum pad, the guide member moving integrally with the vacuum pad and coming into contact with a page of a booklet at the page turning position to regulate rising of the page.
Abstract: A page turning apparatus having a vacuum pad to vacuum suck the uppermost page of a booklet, a drive link plate to move the vacuum pad to pick up the uppermost page of a booklet at a predetermined angle in the direction of opening around a bound edge, a pinch-roller which goes under the uppermost page picked up at a predetermined angle, and a control unit which releases the vacuum suction of the vacuum pad, and moves the vacuum pad in the direction retreating from the uppermost page, after the pinch-roller goes under the uppermost page, and conveys a booklet so that the uppermost page is brought into contact with the pinch-roller, and opened.
Abstract: The present invention provides an apparatus for turning pages of a music book. When a music performer manipulates a power switch, an actuating lever disposed in a housing of the apparatus is raised out of a guide groove of the housing and presses down and carries a right lower end of the page in accordance with an operation of a driving motor interlocked with the actuating lever. At this time, a pressure contact piece is moved in a fore and aft direction with respect to the page to press down or to be separated from the page so that the page can be smoothly turned. The actuating lever continues to pivot leftward along the guide groove to completely turn the page. After completing the operation of turning the page, the actuating lever is separated from the turned page and returns to an initial position along the guide groove.
Abstract: A book holder for placing thereon a book held open includes a pair of support plates for respectively supporting the left hand side and the right hand side of the book held open, a pair of support plate adjusting mechanisms for respectively supporting the support plate on the right hand side and the support plate on the left hand side, height position controlling members for controlling respectively the left hand side and the right hand side of the top page of the book held open to be set at predetermined height positions. In the above arrangement, the left hand side and the right hand side of the top page of the book held open can be placed at predetermined height positions by page restraints. Even when scanning the book, for example, by a CCD, a scanning can be carried out without requiring complex device nor mechanism structure.
