Abstract: For an externally powered weapon, in particular a machine weapon and a machine gun, having at least one barrel, a recoil intensifier at the front end of the barrel is proposed to intensify a weapon return of the returning masses of the weapon and to generate and intensify a signal for monitoring, in particular functionally monitoring, the weapon. The recoil intensifier is of a flared form. The signal intensified by the intensification is used for example for counting the number of shots fired, initiating an emergency stop function, etc. Depending on the further use, the mechanically intensified signal may be converted into an electrical signal.
Abstract: A rear sight block/barrel assembly for an AK-47 rifle may include a bull barrel and a rear sight block. The bull barrel may include a first portion, a second portion having an outer diameter less than the first portion, and a third portion having an outer diameter less than the second portion. The bull barrel may include a right handed outer diameter threaded portion that extends from the distal end of the bull barrel. The rear sight block may include a body portion including a lower bore configured so the body portion is press fittable onto the second portion of the bull barrel. The body portion may further include a mount portion having a picatinny rail portion and a dovetail portion. The body portion may include a hole for receiving a pin insertable into the hole for securing the gas tube in position relative to the rear sight block.
Abstract: An adapter for an M240 machine gun to position the trigger housing assembly distally forward as well as an M240 machine gun with the trigger housing assembly positioned distally forward from the proximal end of the receiver.

Abstract: A mechanical ejector device includes a sliding piston, a transverse lever articulated to a first fixed axis and to a first mobile axis coupled axially to the piston and including a second mobile axis, a first link articulated to a second fixed axis and including third and fourth mobile axes, a transverse actuator rod articulated to the third mobile axis to displace the latter in a single displacement direction and a second link articulated to the second mobile axis and to the fourth mobile axis. The fixed and mobile axes are parallel. The first link and the second link form a deformable assembly having an intermediate configuration in which the piston is in its service position.

Abstract: A firearm for firing caseless ammunition includes a barrel, a receiver, a bolt, and a firing pin. The bolt includes laterally open pockets for receiving a projectile and a separate propellant cartridge. The bolt carries an extractor to extract unspent projectiles. The bolt drives a locking collar to lock itself in forward position. The locking collar is unlocked by the recoil-action of the firing pin. The firing pin is driven by a spring biased hammer; the firing pin then drives the hammer by recoil action, causing the hammer to unlock the locking collar. A gas seal for the firing pin includes a deformable ring which is deformed by ignition gas pressure into sealing engagement with the firing pin. An anti-recoil muzzle at the discharge end of the barrel has a reaction surface thereof cleaned of combustion deposits by a plurality of bristles extending from the barrel. A propellant cartridge comprises a plurality of telescoping nitrocellulose jackets which form a propellant chamber and a primer compartment.
