Abstract: An apparatus for converting rotation to fluid flow, comprising a fluid conduit coiled around a rotational axis, the fluid conduit having a first inlet for receiving first fluid having a first density and a second inlet for receiving second fluid having a second density, and a first outlet for output of first fluid and a second outlet for output of second fluid; a motor coupled to the fluid conduit to rotate the fluid conduit around the rotational axis in a first angular direction such that first fluid portions of first fluid and second fluid portions of second fluid are transported along the fluid conduit towards the first outlet, while being pressurized; and a fluid returning arrangement, fluid flow connecting the second outlet and the second inlet for selectively allowing pressurized second fluid to return from the second outlet to the second inlet, while depressurizing the pressurized second fluid.

Abstract: Operation of a system for injecting a predetermined amount of a secondary fluid into a primary fluid stream. The system uses a liquid additive injection pump driven by a fluid powered motor that is driven by the primary fluid stream and can be selectively suspended by an on/off switch mechanism. The fluid powered motor includes a housing enclosing a differential pressure piston assembly having a piston movable within housing between upstroke and down stroke positions; a valve mechanism establishing a differential pressure within the housing to produce movement of the piston; an over-center mechanism coupled to the valve mechanism to toggle the valve mechanism between open and closed positions; and an actuating shall coupled to the over-center mechanism.

Abstract: A robot has a base shaft portion disposed on a base, a first arm attached in a rotatable state to the base shaft portion, and a second arm attached in a rotatable state to the first arm. Balance setting is performed so as to position the center of gravity of the second arm above the rotation shaft of the second arm. A housing to which the motor, whose driving power is transmitted to a rotation shaft of the second arm by a steel belt, and harmonic reduction gear for rotating the second arm are fixed, is supported in a rotatable state with respect to the first arm, the drive shaft of the motor being disposed substantially coaxial with a rotation shaft of the first arm. A support arm of the housing is supported in a rotatable and slidable state along the length direction of the first arm by a support member fixed to the base shaft portion.
