Plural Ports Control Relatively Movable Distributor Motors Patents (Class 91/295)
  • Patent number: 9085978
Abstract: A rotary vane type actuator includes a vane assembly for converting pressure from a pressurized medium within the actuator into rotational movement. The vane assembly has a rotatable vane and a vane seal for preventing leakage of pressurized medium through or around the vane assembly. A side-plate is attached to the rotatable vane and the side-plate has a limiting protrusion that abuts the vane to maintain a gap between the vane and the side-plate so that the seal in the gap is not extruded from between the vane and side-plate.

  • Publication number: 20020152882
Abstract: A pneumatic motor having a motor body having a main piston chamber with opposed first and second chamber ends, at least two spool chambers in fluid communication with the main piston chamber, an inlet for flowing a pressurized fluid into each of the at least two spool chambers, and an outlet provided in the housing for exhausting the pressurized fluid from the main piston chamber and each of the spool chambers. At least two spool members are in the two spool chambers, with each spool member adapted to be movable in a first direction to permit pressurized fluid to be supplied to the main piston chamber and also in a second direction to permit the pressurized fluid to be exhausted from the main piston chamber. A piston member is movable in a reciprocating manner in the main piston chamber in response to movement by the spool members.

  • Patent number: 5616005
Abstract: An apparatus comprising a pair of fluid driven pump assemblies in a back-to-back configuration to yield a bi-directional pump. Each of the pump assemblies includes a piston or diaphragm which divides a chamber therein to define a power section and a pumping section. An intake-exhaust valve is connected to each of the power sections of the pump chambers, and function to direct fluid, such as compressed air, into the power section and exhaust fluid therefrom. At least one of the pistons or diaphragms is connected by a rod assembly which is constructed to define a signal valve, whereby the intake-exhaust valve of one pump assembly is controlled by the position or location of the piston or diaphragm in the other pump assembly through the operation of the rod assembly signal valve. Each of the pumping sections of the pump assemblies are provided with intake and exhaust valves to enable filling of the pumping section with fluid and discharging fluid therefrom when a desired pressure has been reached.

  • Patent number: 5209649
Abstract: A two cylinder thick matter pump has two hydraulic drive cylinders, two pistons supported and driven within each respective drive cylinder, and two feed cylinders. Each feed cylinder is adapted to receive a respective piston therein to pump the matter therethrough. A hydro-pump is coupled to the drive cylinders to supply hydraulic fluid thereto. A reversing valve is coupled to the hydro-pump to reverse the direction thereof. Two pressure switching valves are coupled to one of the drive cylinders and to the reversing valve to actuate the reversing valve upon a change in cylinder pressure. Two electronic proximity switches are supported adjacent to the pistons and coupled to the reversing valve. The proximity switches actuate the reversing valve in parallel with the switching valves.
