Lever Reaction Means Patents (Class 91/369.4)
  • Patent number: 10525953
Abstract: A pneumatic brake booster including a booster housing having at least one housing shell. The housing shell is designed to be substantially pot-shaped with a center axis, a base portion and a lateral portion, and the base portion has a curved or conical wall region. In order to offer a brake booster by which it is possible to cost-effectively realize improved adaptability to customer- and application-specific requirements with respect to the spatial connection arrangement, at least one flattened surface area is formed in a radial outer region of the base portion, is designed to be elongate in the circumferential direction and has, at its radial outer edge, at least two notches which are arranged with respect to one another in a defined grid pattern with a circle angle.

  • Publication number: 20130019744
Abstract: A timing device for an intermittent vacuum regulator comprises a diaphragm assembly that includes a diaphragm housing, a return spring, and a diaphragm projecting at least partially out of the diaphragm housing. A piston rod is coupled to the diaphragm. A connecting rod comprising an upper free end coupled to the piston rod and a lower fixed end coupled to a valve pin is provided. A piston stop comprising a semicircular C-shaped portion on its front side and a semi-cylindrical portion on its back side is also provided, wherein the piston rod directly pushes and pulls the connecting rod, such that during an intermittent operation of the timing device to actuate a valve assembly, the upper free end of the connecting rod rotates about the valve pin but is being limited in a range of motion by the piston stop.

  • Publication number: 20080275385
Abstract: A portable, hands-free and user friendly breast pump for facilitating breast-feeding, incorporates a dome-shaped housing having a servomotor mechanism; a hat-shaped flange having a chamber portion, a brim portion and an outlet, the chamber portion being formed so as to be placed over a nipple on a breast so as to define a chamber between the flange and the breast, and the brim portion being formed to surround the nipple and thereby form a suction seal therebetween; and a one-way venting element formed to operatively communicate with the chamber so as to vent pumped milk from the chamber via the outlet. The housing, the flange and the venting element are connected into an integral device held against the breast and underneath clothing so as to keep the integral device hidden. Breast milk is collected via a plastic collection bag that connects directly with the pump underneath clothing such that the milk is isolated from any contaminants in the air and may be easily stored immediately after being collected.

  • Patent number: 7077051
Abstract: A pneumatic booster operated by a plunger (9) housed in a bore (61) and bearing on a moving seat (102) which co-operates selectively with a shut-off member (111). The shut-off member (111) is capable of selective co-operating with a stationary seat (101). The plunger (9) being characterized by a cylindrical body (91) and a ring (92). The ring (92) sliding between a front stop (911) and a rear stop (912) on the cylindrical body (91). A front section of the ring (92) being located between the cylindrical body (91) and the bore (61) while a rear section (922) is designed to bear against the moving seat (102). The ring (92) being temporarily retained in a stationary position in the bore (61) independent of any movement of the cylindrical body (91) through the action of a pivoting key (13) and an elastic snap ring (141) to allow permit and extended actuation of the booster after a sharp braking action has occurred.

  • Patent number: RE37841
Abstract: A vehicle brake system with an electronically controllable brake booster, comprising an actuation member (70, 80) transferring the actuation travel of a brake pedal to a master cylinder, which is allocated a travel limiting element (82) accepted between two abutment faces which limits the actuation travel of the actuation member (70), and a switching element (85) which upon an actuation movement of the actuation member (70) can be activated by one of the abutments (91, 91a) in order to issue a signal to the controller of the brake booster, with the traveling limiting element being arranged on the actuation member (80) between two collars (83, 84), and a carrier (86) accepting the switching element (85) being arranged between the travel limiting element and one of the collars.
