    Abstract: A structure comprising firstly a differential sensor of linear displacement comprising a body and a core slidably mounted relative to said body, and secondly a rod of a servo-control actuator in which the core is mounted, said rod terminating in an endpiece which has a bore in which the core is received close to its end, said bore and the core having complementary threads which co-operate to hold said core relative to said bore, and means enabling the engagement of the core in said bore to be adjusted, wherein said means comprise an adjustment screw extending through the actuator rod and whose thread co-operates with complementary means carried by the core so that turning movement applied to the adjustment screw by an operator gives rise to axial displacement of the core in the bore of the endpiece.

    Abstract: A power steering device for automobile type vehicles having a hydraulic power cylinder for assisting in steering front end wheels of the vehicle. The hydraulic power cylinder has a piston and piston rod fixed thereto reciprocable in two opposite directions of travel. The opposite ends of the piston rod are linked to respective front wheels of the vehicle for turning the individual steering wheels in a direction in which the piston rod travels. The piston rod has a rack with which a pinion is engaged and rotated by a shaft rotated by a drum coupled to the shaft for effecting manual steering. Another drum is provided and is rotated by the steering wheel by the vehicle driver. The drums are operationally coupled by a pair of flexible cables for rotating the drums by the steering wheel to move the piston rod rack in the desired steering direction. A direction control valve having a rotatable rotor is coupled to the drum which drives the rack pinion.

    Abstract: A chain is connected at its distal end to the pin at the rod end of a cylinder on an implement lift and depth control assembly. An intermediate portion of the chain is trained around a gear which rotates about the axis of the pin connecting the base end of the cylinder to the implement frame. An adjustable length, spring-biased rod is connected to the proximal end of the chain to maintain tension in the chain and operate a single point depth control valve to establish a highly accurate and repeatable depth setting which is dependent directly on cylinder rod extension and therefore less susceptible to looseness in the implement lift system.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to an improved clutch booster equipped with a power piston and a control valve unit, and more particularly to a clutch booster wherein the control valve is operatively connected to a clutch pedal by mechanical link means and there is employed at least one pivot lever as an essential element of the link means, and wherein the pivot lever is pivotally connected to an output rod in such a manner that a manual force rendered upon the clutch pedal of a vehicle may be relayed in the directions of the output rod, thereby enabling the manual clutch operation even in the non-servo operation state where the clutch booster is left not supplied with any operating fluid pressure, and thereby eliminating the need for such complicated mechanical installation as a master cylinder, fluid pipings, etc. incorporated in the connection between the clutch pedal and the clutch booster.

    Abstract: A vacuum operated actuator has a spring biased diaphragm that is exposed on one side to atmosphere and on the other side to a vacuum chamber. An output means is connected to move with the diaphragm and carries a valve means which together with a tube a manually controlled tube operates to connect the vacuum chamber with either atmosphere or with a vacuum source so that the diaphragm and thereby the output moves with the movement and in the direction of the tube so as to provide an output force so as to move the output with a force substantially greater than the input force applied to the tube.

In each of the specific intensifiers disclosed, its piston and control device are interconnected by cable means configured to cause the control device to rotate about its own axis in a manner corresponding to the movement of the piston.

    Abstract: In a hydraulic piston actuator the supply of working fluid is governed by at least one servo valve of the three-gate type, the spring-loaded valve body of which is activated by a thermowire adapted normally to hold the valve body in a position to close-off the supply of fluid. One end of the thermowire is connected to a compensating device, goverened by the movement of the actuator piston in such a manner that thermal movements are partly counteracted. The servo valve may actuate a maximum switch, and a time relay will, after a predetermined period of time put the fluid pump out of action, and connect both sides of a double acting actuator with a return flow tank.

A double sprocket is rotatably mounted at each outer end of the respective push rod means. The housing rotatably supports another double sprocket which is disposed in substantially the same plane as the sprockets of the input and output members. A first chain meshes with the sprocket of the input member and a first set of the teeth of each of the double sprockets. A second chain meshes with the sprocket of the output member and a second set of the teeth of each of the double sprockets.
