  • Patent number: 10920757
Abstract: A liquid pressure rotary machine in which a rotation delay of a retainer with respect to a cylinder block is reduced and contact of pistons placed between the retainer and the cylinder block with peripheral members is suppressed is provided. A piston pump includes a rotation shaft, a cylinder block, piston heads, piston rods, a retainer, a swash plate, and a tilt adjustment mechanism. When the tilt adjustment mechanism swings the swash plate, a discharge amount of the piston pump becomes variable. The retainer to be rotated together with the piston heads and the piston rods is supported by a retainer bushing provided in the rotation shaft. By engaging ball pins of the retainer bushing with spherical surface pin grooves of the retainer, the retainer and the retainer bushing are integrally rotatable about the center axis of the rotation shaft and the retainer is swung about the spherical surface center.

  • Patent number: 5810046
Abstract: A device and method for selecting a control mode in a power construction vehicle is disclosed. The device has a control mode select switch which selects a function for setting new matching relations between the control levers and the proportional control valves. A controller sets the new matching relations and stores the new matching relations, and controls the actuators in accordance with the new matching relations. In the control mode selection method, one operational motion of an actuator is primarily selected and displayed on a display means. Thereafter, a voltage signal indicative of a levering angle of a control lever associated with the selected actuator is output, thus setting a new matching relation between the control lever and an associated proportional control valve. The above process is repeated in order to continuously set and store new matching relations between the control levers and proportional control valves associated with the other actuators.

  • Patent number: 5184933
Abstract: A mini-size universal hydraulic excavator capable of performing independently many operating processes, such as digging, pushing, grabbing, drilling and chipping, having essentially three main sections, namely, a chassis carrying traveling device pivotally connected with an earth-moving means, a complete swivel upper carriage provided with a power generator and a driver's seat, and an excavating arm having a boom, a bucket arm, and a bucket. A hydraulic chipper can be connected to the main machine without the necessity of removal of the bucket and the earth-moving means, so that chipping and site clearing can be carried on simultaneously solely by one single machine. A backhoe bucket carrying a scraper employs a multi-bar linkage mechanism having a bucket body, a scraper, and a bucket arm so that the bucket can have sufficient bucket capacity in a relatively greater excavating revolving angle range.

  • Patent number: 4278135
Abstract: A Pneumatic impact drilling tool, particularly useful as a downhole pneumatic drill, includes a housing structure adapted to be connected to a string of drill pipe and supplied with compressed air therethrough. A hammer piston reciprocates in the housing structure along flexible feed and exhaust tubes. Compressed air is directed alternately to the upper and lower ends of the hammer to effect its reciprocation in the housing. The hammer is operable to strike an anvil bit member repeatedly to effect a drilling motion. At the upper end of the housing there is provided a removable annular plug member surrounding the tubular support in which the feeder tube is positioned. The annular plug member defines the volume of the space above the hammer piston and is related to the size of the feeder tube so that the feeder tube and plug member together determine the volume of air utilized at any selected air pressure and the timing of operation of the hammer position.
