Moving Apparatus Part For Liquid Contact Patents (Class 96/268)
  • Patent number: 8758466
Abstract: A device in a pipe has an annular partition spaced radially inwardly from an inner face of the pipe and defining therewith an upstream annular space opening axially upstream of the direction into the pipe such that a secondary gas stream is separated from the primary gas stream along with a liquid film on the inner surface, a downstream annular space larger than the upstream annular space, and a droplet separator opening into the downstream annular space. The separator has a plurality of lamellas, a condensate sump, and a drain, so that the edge film intercepted by the partition into the upstream space passes therefrom into the downstream space and therefrom through the separator such that the liquid of the film flows into the sump and out the drain and the secondary gas stream passes out of the separator.

  • Patent number: 8128737
Abstract: A system, method and apparatus for treating a waste gas stream containing on or more hydrocarbon contaminants such polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH). The system, method and apparatus may include a heat treatment chamber having a recycling apparatus that includes a supply of a food oil solvent; a mixing device to mix the solvent with the waste gas stream. The system, method and apparatus dissolve the hydrocarbon contaminants from the gas stream into a solvent containing the food oil.

  • Patent number: 7985273
Abstract: A device for the precipitation of liquid from a gas stream includes a preseparator chamber in a first housing portion arranged to flow a gas stream laterally centrally to rebound from an opposing sidewall and deflect upwards to a main separator in a second housing portion. The main separator includes a drainage element separating oil from the gas stream. A guide element is arranged between the housing portions and includes an outer wall with a central opening and at least one guide part arranged on the wall to laterally deflect the gas stream. The deflected gas stream flows laterally through the main separator.

  • Patent number: 7531144
Abstract: This invention relates to a method for desalination of seawater (5, 30) and separation of CO2 from exhaust (77) from a gas turbine (7). LNG (4) is fed into a heat exchanger (6) in which it receives heat from seawater (5) and heat from steam (27) from an exhaust boiler, and heat from combustion air (3) via a line to an air inlet (33) of said gas turbine (7), for evaporating LNG (4) to gas which is fed to a gas export module (10) and to a fuel gas skid (8) for supplying said gas turbine (7) with fuel. Thus said combustion air (3, 28) at the air inlet to said gas turbine (7) obtains a lowered temperature and increases an efficiency of said gas turbine (7). Said CO2-rich exhaust gas (77) from said gas turbine (7) is fed into a process unit (17) having an inlet (35a) with a fan (35b) and an outlet for CO2-reduced exhaust (13). Said cooled seawater from said heat exchanger (6) is fed into said process unit (17) via a coaxial feed pipe (67) for seawater and NH4OH arranged in said process unit (17).
