Abstract: A mist/dust collector includes a tank body, a recovery tank having a demister member, a spraying unit spraying water or coolant fluid from a nozzle, an impeller mounted on a main shaft located in the tank body, so as to be rotatable by air flow, a disc rotary brush and a shaking-off member mounted on the shaft. A suction unit is actuated to draw air containing mist and dust into the tank body interior maintained in a negative pressure state. The impeller is rotated by collision of water or coolant fluid at a predetermined pressure, and the rotary brush and the shaking-off member are rotated simultaneously with the impeller, so that mist and dust are separated from air by a centrifugal action of the rotary brush and the shaking-off member. Mist and dust remaining in the air flowing into the recovery tank are collected by the demister member.
Abstract: A wet type air cleaner includes a housing accommodating therein water; a blower having a fan for downwardly transferring air, installed above the water in the housing; an outer guide portion for transferring the air downwardly transferred by the blower into the water, connected to the blower as a unit; a driving unit for rotating the blower and the outer guide portion as a unit; and a plurality of discharge holes formed on a circumferential bottom surface of the outer guide portion. The air downwardly transferred by the blower is dispersed into the water in the housing through the discharge holes.
Abstract: An antiallergen filter of the present invention is characterized in that a water-insoluble high-molecular weight anti-allergenic agent having a phenolic hydroxyl group and a moisture-absorbing material are carried on a filter. Because of using the water-insoluble high-molecular weight substance as an anti-allergenic agent, the antiallergen filter of the present invention is free from a problem that the anti-allergenic agent flows and drops or is detached from the filter due to moisture in the atmosphere, etc. even in a highly humid environment or the like. Further, since the moisture-absorbing material is carried on the filter, moisture that the anti-allergenic agent requires for adsorbing and capturing an allergen and inactivating its allergic activity can be effectively retained on the filter. Thus, the antiallergen filter of the present invention can effectively exert its anti-allergenic effect over a prolonged period of time.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for cleaning a gas comprising a rotatable centrifugal cylinder having passageways for flowing a gas stream with a liquid stream through the cylinder to centrifugally remove the particulates from the gas stream with the liquid stream; turbine blades positioned inside the cylinder and connected to the cylinder to rotate the cylinder when the liquid stream flows through the turbine blades; fan blades positioned inside the cylinder and connected to the cylinder to rotate with the cylinder to pump the gas stream through the cylinder; and a pump connected to a reservoir of liquid, for pumping the liquid stream.
