Central Downward Gas Inlet Patents (Class 96/335)
  • Patent number: 6866705
Abstract: Sanding and screening are steps in floor finishing that produce large quantities of fine dust which is difficult to remove and which plugs porous filter elements of dust collection systems. Dust collection is enhanced with a floor screening attachment for a floor machine. A vacuum system with a liquid filtering medium is provided to collect dust produced during screening. A dust collection unit is also disclosed to collect and separate sawdust produced by sanding which can cause foaming of a liquid filter medium.

  • Patent number: 6626983
Abstract: An apparatus for removing particles and/or other undesirable components from a gas stream includes a container containing a liquid, an inlet for the gas stream permitting wetting of at least a portion of the gas stream, and an outlet from the container for cleaned gas. The inlet and/or the outlet includes condensing means for cooling desired fractions of the gas stream and/or cleaned gas. The liquid may be such as to wet the particulates, thereby retaining them in the liquid while the gas passes through the liquid to the outlet. Methods for removing particulates and/or other undesirable components from a gas stream are also provided.

  • Patent number: 6521027
Abstract: An air cleaner includes a scrubber, a water purifier and a water feeder. The scrubber includes a housing being provided with a central tank and an air outlet. A barrel is disposed inside the housing so as to form a scrubbing room with the central tank. An air pump is disposed on top of the housing for pumping air into the scrubbing room via a pipe extending downward to the central tank so as to force scrubbing water contained in the central tank sprayed upward and scattered. One or a plurality of perforated middle barrels are disposed inside the scrubbing room in a manner coaxial with the central tank for dividing the sprayed water into fine drops. The water purifier have a filtering layer and an activated carbon part for purifying the scrubbing water. A water feeding means is disposed on the upper portion of the scrubbing room for supplying scrubbing water.
