Perforated Plate Patents (Class 96/345)
  • Patent number: 12188680
Abstract: A system and method for filtering contaminants from air has a housing assembly further comprising at least one air inlet and outlet. An intake fan assembly draws air in and propels the air through at least one tube assembly leading to a bottom portion of a removable aqueous solution tank member. A plurality of hole members lines an upper surface of a submerged portion of the tube assembly from which bubbles travel upward through an aqueous solution to a condensing chamber assembly. At least one cooling condenser coil assembly in a first duct cools the air to removing humidity and contaminants, the air then traveling to a second duct bearing a heating coil assembly. The air travels through the second duct to a dry filtration system including a removable carbon filter screen fronting the exit portion. At least one electric motor assembly and LED control assembly permits and controls operation.

  • Patent number: 11761651
Abstract: Air cleaning apparatus includes: a tank; a detergent inlet into the tank; a water inlet into the tank; an air inlet into the tank; at least one sparger in fluid communication with the air inlet; a vacuum pump; an air outlet in fluid communication with the vacuum pump; and at least one valve between the air outlet and the vacuum pump and configured to control flow of fluids through the air outlet. The apparatus is configured to conduct a method to pull polluted external air into the tank through the air inlet to the at least one sparger, sparge bubbles of the polluted air from the at least one sparger into a mixture of the water and the nonfoaming detergent in the tank, remove pollutants from the air as it rises through the mixture, extract clean air from the mixture into a cavity in the tank above the mixture and extract the clean air from the cavity through the air outlet to an external environment with the vacuum pump.

  • Patent number: 6206955
Abstract: An improved vacuum cleaner apparatus having at least three stages of dust collection with a path partially submerged in water and provided with a separation labyrinth. The apparatus is subdivided into two parts, an upper one which includes the support body of a suction motor unit, and a lower one which includes the labyrinth. The lower one provides an intermediate washable filter. The support body is housed in an opening coated by an acoustic insulating material.

  • Patent number: 5951741
Abstract: An improved process and apparatus are provided for recovering hydrocarbons from an intermittent or continuous inlet air-hydrocarbon vapor mixture. The air-hydrocarbon vapor mixture is caused to flow through a bed of solid adsorbent whereby hydrocarbons are removed therefrom and a residue gas stream of substantially hydrocarbon-free air is produced. The substantially hydrocarbon-free air is vented into the atmosphere and a second bed of solid adsorbent having hydrocarbons previously adsorbed thereon is regenerated by evacuation. As long as the concentration of hydrocarbons contained in the vented air is below a predetermined concentration, the inlet air-hydrocarbon vapor mixture is caused to continue to flow through the first bed of adsorbent. After the second bed of adsorbent is regenerated, the pumping and evacuation of the second bed is shut down and not restarted so long as the monitored concentration of hydrocarbons is below the predetermined concentration.
