Abstract: A filter assembly and method of operating the filter assembly includes a hinge attached to a first end of a filter while a lifting mechanism is attached to a second end of the filter. The lifting mechanism lifts and releases the second end of the filter causing an impact such that dust and debris caught in the filter is dislodged.

Abstract: A fiber-paper based Diesel particulate Filtration (DPF) apparatus possessing high filtration efficiency and a high porosity, the apparatus comprising at least two rollers capable of rotating over rotors with the help of a controlled motor and capable of supplying fiber paper at the exhaust gas inlet. As the exhaust gas moves over the fiber paper supplied from one of the rollers, the soot gets gradually collected on the fiber paper and keeps on increasing the backpressure thereon. The moment when the backpressure increases beyond a limit, the loaded section of the fiber paper is replaced by fresh fiber paper from the other roller. The loaded fiber is sent to an off-board regeneration facility for regeneration.
Abstract: Disclosed is a filter cassette magazine and an apparatus for sequentially gathering fine particles using the same, in which a ‘filter cassette not having gathered fine particles yet,’ is received from a first magazine and the received filter cassette is transferred to a lower portion of an upper filter holder, the ‘filter cassette not having gather fine particles yet’ is pushed up toward the upper filter holder by lifting a lower filter holder so as to gather fine particles from outside, the ‘filter cassette having gathered fine particles’ is transferred to a lower portion of a second magazine, and the ‘filter cassette having gathered fine particles’ is pushed up and stored into the second magazine by lifting a push rod. Therefore, it is possible to implement simple maintenance and management, reduction in malfunction, and reduction in parts for machines and equipment.
Abstract: Disclosed is a filter unit for an air conditioner, which is provided at an indoor unit for the air conditioner so as to purify the air discharged to a room. The filter unit includes a filter for purifying air, a filter case accommodated in the filter and having a filter gate at a side thereof for placing/withdrawing the filter, and a cover for opening/closing the filter gate.
Abstract: A vacuum cleaner including an electric blower for generating suction air, a collecting unit for collecting dust contained in the suction air, a dust removing unit for removing dust adhered to the collecting unit, and a dust removing stop unit for stopping an operation of the dust removing unit. The dust removing stop unit stops the operation of the dust removing unit in response to a user's selection or an operation mode of the vacuum cleaner, thereby saving a power consumption of the dust removing unit.
