Patent number: 9596959Abstract: A device for cooking cannoli shells is comprised of a rack, a plurality of clips, a plurality of rods and a handle. The clips are attached to the upper side of the rack. The clips releasably secure the rods at a central section of each rod. The rods are shaped such that cannoli dough in the shape of a cannoli shell may be placed on each end of each rod, for a total of two shells per rod. The handles allow the device to be inserted into and removed from hot cooking oil. When the device is placed within a frying pan, the cannoli dough shell wraps on the rods are submerged below the surface of the cooking oil. Multiple racks may be releasably attached to each other to form a multiple tiered device which can be used with a frying pan deep enough to accommodate the device.Type: GrantFiled: June 11, 2015Date of Patent: March 21, 2017Inventors: Gene Tironi, Kolleen M. Patent number: 5359924Abstract: An appliance for cooking a sausage on a stick embedded in a batter. One or a plurality of cylinders are provided for receiving a cooked sausage skewered on a stick which is then filled with a pancake batter. The cylinders are then submerged in a hot oil for a few minutes to cook the batter to produce a breakfast on a stick. The appliance can be in the form of a plurality of cylinders on a plate or can be individual cylinders. The appliance is provided with hooks or a clip to mount it in a deep fat frying basket for submersion in hot oil, In another embodiment the appliance can be free-standing by surrounding each cylinder with a heating coil.Type: GrantFiled: July 21, 1992Date of Patent: November 1, 1994Inventors: Gordon G. Patent number: 4535687Abstract: A device and a method for the manufacture and processing of biscuit mixture shapes, including pressing pick up devices by means of a drive with their forming chambers against the floor of a trough filled with biscuit mixture, and while there, rotating them by means of a drive by 360.degree., while a drive turns the trough somewhat further. Subsequently the pick up devices are raised and placed by a drive in a position above a band conveyor with baking sheets. By means of a drive the ejectors are then moved into the forming chambers and the formed biscuits are deposited by stripping device onto the baking sheet. The baking sheet is fitted with recesses of specific design. The band conveyor transports the formed biscuits into a plant comprising an oven, a cooling device, a second heating device, a removal device and stacking chambers for baking sheets. The removal device is largely identical with the mixture pick up device. The trough receives a supply of mixture which is controlled by a level indicator.Type: GrantFiled: July 8, 1983Date of Patent: August 20, 1985Inventor: Heinz-Josef Antpohler
