Abstract: A funnel based on bivariate normal distribution is provided, and belongs to the field of daily tools. The funnel is formed by connecting a funnel body in a shape of a bivariate normal distribution with an outlet tube. The funnel body can be formed by rotating a normal distribution curve around the axis of symmetry z with a positive direction pointing to a deep part of the funnel, towards which the fluid flows. An outlet tube is a conical structure with a wide upper part and a narrow lower part. The surface of the funnel body has arbitrary order smoothness at everywhere. The design is simple and the fluid experiences little resistance when it flows through the inner surface. Thus, the funnel can effectively prevented blockage during the transport of fluid, powder and granules and the transport efficiency is remarkably improved.

Abstract: A juice extractor with a temperature displaying function includes a body and a temperature display device. The body includes a base and a container. A cover is mounted on a top end of the container. The temperature display device is mounted to the body and includes a temperature detecting portion and a display. The temperature detecting portion is connected to the display via a signal transmission route. A temperature change in the container during operation of the body can be known by the temperature display device.

Abstract: A juice extractor is adapted to squeeze juice from oranges and similar kinds of fruits. The juice extractor includes a juice extractor base and a juice squeezing wheel rotatably disposed on the juice extractor base. An arcuate concave surface is formed on an upper portion of the juice extractor base. The juice squeezing wheel has an involute outer surface. A crushing space is defined between the juice squeezing wheel and the concave surface of the juice extractor base for receiving a half-cut fruit. When the juice squeezing wheel rotates, the half-cut fruit in the crushing space is crushed to produce fruit juice. The juice extractor can squeeze juice electrically, is structurally simple and is convenient to be washed.

Abstract: An apparatus for preparing a melon juice concentrate, such as watermelon juice concentrate, includes a finisher with brushes for separating melon flesh from melon rind including leaving at least 1/16 inch flesh on the rind and screens for separating juice from flesh. The apparatus also includes a steamer to reduce bacteria count on whole melon, a chopper for chopping melons into pieces less than about 16 inches square, an extractor for extracting juice from the flesh, and an evaporator for concentrating melon juice to form melon juice concentrate. The steamer includes a cylinder frame, steam jets directing steam through apertures in the cylinder frame at whole melon therein, and a motivator to move the whole melon along the cylinder frame. The apparatus can also process cantaloupe, honeydew melon, and other melon.

Abstract: A food press, for example a garlic press, has a first handle with an accommodation space for the food. The first handle is, via an openable pivot, connected to a second handle which has a press plate. The food press further has a comminutor unit with a perforated plate which, in a position of use, is adjacent the accommodation space and through which the food is pressed. According to the present invention, the comminutor unit is, at opposing ends, connected via a first and second non-openable pivot, to the first and the second handles, respectively. The openable pivot includes recesses on the first handle and pins, which are insertable in the recesses on the second handle.

The locking member connects the juice extracting module to the displaying unit, and the rotation of the displaying unit drives the juice extracting module. Through rotation of the displaying unit against the base body, the juice extracting module is driven to squeeze a vegetable or fruit.

The juicer includes a base containing a clutch and gearing assembly connected to a motor. A center column assembly rotates and advances the juicing cone. The juicing cone, strainer, and a bowl release and catch the juice. The center column includes an outer column fixed to the base, a rotating drive shaft driven by the motor but not advancing vertically, and a driven shaft which rotates with the drive shaft and advances and retreats vertically. The bowl is fixed to the base. The strainer advances vertically with juicing cone but does not rotate. The juicing cone is attached to the driven shaft and rotates and advances vertically, thereby releasing juice from the fruit. Knife edges on the bottom of the juicing cone scrape pulp from the strainer to prevent clogging.

The body has a hub aperture (160) to receive the shaft (210). The shaft has means to urge both the cutting and the splitting end into coconut. Other embodiments are described and shown.

Abstract: A canned food pressing device includes a top piece, wherein the top piece is adapted to conform to the shape of a circular can and has multiple columns of vertically aligned gripping teeth. The top piece is also adapted to facilitate gripping and turning. The device also includes a bottom piece, having multiple columns of vertically aligned arcing teeth, wherein the vertically aligned arcing teeth are adapted to mate with the vertically aligned gripping teeth. The bottom piece is also adapted to facilitate gripping and turning. In addition, the bottom piece includes a magnet for lifting a magnetic can lid. Both the top piece and bottom piece also include alignment markers.

Abstract: A high speed method and apparatus for citrus juice extraction is provided. The juice extraction system includes a reamer having a plurality of diagonal grooves formed in the surface of the primary rib or ribs of the reamer. The grooves allow juice to escape easily, which in turn allows the reamer to extract over 99% of the citrus juice.

Abstract: A multipurpose apparatus that enables extracting juice and crushing objects of variable sizes. The apparatus comprises a base, an approximation mechanism, an upper member, a lower holder member and a support assembly. The upper member and the lower holder member are movably connected to one another through the approximation mechanism, which comprises at least one handle, where the upper member and the lower holder member are movably disposed on the support assembly. A manual lowering of the handle enables the approximation mechanism to approximate the lower holder member to the upper member by simultaneously lifting of the lower holder member towards the upper member and lowering the upper member towards the lower holder member.

In addition, the collection vessel couples with the inner juicing cup. In another embodiment, the inner and outer juicing heads have teeth and blades, respectively, of varying degrees of sharpness. In another embodiment, the inner juicing cup has a drainage region for allowing juice to flow into the collection vessel, a first filtering region for filtering juice flowing from the heads to an external container, and a second filtering region for filtering juice flowing from the collection vessel to the external container.
