Abstract: An improved sanitary toothbrush with a curved proximal end in the general shape of a hook for storing the toothbrush in a suspended, upside down fashion, thereby allowing for air drying of the distal brush portion of the toothbrush and creating a cleaner and more sanitary method of storing the toothbrush after use. In an additional embodiment of the present invention, the elongated intermediate handle portion of the toothbrush is designed in the shape of an animal with the curved distal end of the handle forming the animal's tail, thereby making brushing more aesthetically pleasing and appealing to children suffering from sensory integrative dysfunction and accompanying oral defensive disorder.

Abstract: A toothbrush for cleansing the teeth, including a unitary body having a handle with a grip portion having concave indentations formed on a surface thereof, and a neck portion formed with the grip portion and positioned at an obtuse angle thereto. A cross-shaped head is formed with one end of the neck portion and includes a first head member positioned in axial alignment with the longitudinal axis of the handle. A second head member is formed with the first, and has a longitudinal axis positioned perpendicular to the longitudinal axis thereof. Each of the head members includes a preselected transaxial width, and rounded corners defined by respective curves having combined radii of at least seventy-five percent of the transaxial width of the head member. A multiplicity of bristles are attached to both head members and define an enlarged cleaning surface area sufficient to simultaneously engage the upper and lower teeth during brushing.
Abstract: The hair brush includes an elongated member having a handle segment and a bristle substrate segment. The bristle substrate defines a cylindrical core having a smoothly curved, concave central region and radially larger end regions. A plurality of bristles are attached over the bristle substrate. The bristles have varying lengths such that the outer peripheral portions of the plurality of bristles define a planar surface, an arcuate segment of cylinder, or a complete cylinder. The bristles are distributed throughout the bristle substrate in a predetermined pattern. The bristles are disposed over the peripheral surface of the bristle substrate in one of two manners. In one embodiment the bristles are individually disposed on the bristle substrate in a series. In another embodiment, the bristles are segmented into groups of small bundles and these bundles are disposed on the bristle substrate in a series.
