Abstract: A jewelry link assembly and method in which successive links are slipped onto prior links and are held together without the need for soldering between adjacent links. An infinitely hinged connection between adjacent links is formed permitting substantial flexibility when the hinged link bracelet assembly is so constructed.
Abstract: A fashion accessory featuring a plurality of units connected together to form a continuous chain having a first end and a second end. The first end and second end are connected together via a locking means. Each unit is a loop. The units each occupy a folded configuration. In the folded configuration, the unit is folded in half to form a first top arc and a second top arc that are positioned next to each other, and a first bottom hook and a second bottom hook that are positioned across from each other. Adjacent units are fed through both bottom hooks and subsequently moved to occupy the folded configuration.
Abstract: A band wearable by a user connectable or connected to a watchcase or a decorative item, comprising a plurality of separable units and means for releasably connecting at least some of the units together to form the band, wherein two adjacent said units are releasably lockable together, and wherein the releasable connection means comprises operable means manually actuable or depressible by a finger of the user to disconnect said adjacent units from each other.
Abstract: Methods of weaving decorative rope chains are disclosed. Chain links having gaps are assembled with all of the gaps oriented in the same direction. Accordingly, the links are interconnected one into the next in a helix configuration with each of the gaps facing in the same direction. One or more wire strands may be intertwined in the valleys of the helix configuration and remain in place to retain the helix configuration. The resulting rope chain itself may be used to form links for forming new types of chains.
Abstract: Several methods of forming links for use with the creation of rope chains is disclosed, whereby the outer peripheries of such links are contoured prior to assembly into rope chains. In one embodiment, the wire used in the formation of intertwinable links is contoured and then cut into individual, pre-contoured links. In another embodiment, the outer periphery of non-contoured links are individually contoured prior to the intertwining of such links to form actual rope chains. In another embodiment, individual links are collectively contoured, preferably after arrangement on a support such as a mandril. Such contouring can be accomplished by hand, machine or the like.

Abstract: A jewelry piece made of metal and with a textured surface. The textured surface has: a first series of substantially parallel grooves made by a process of diamond-cutting the surface of the jewelry piece, the grooves having a depth, and a plurality of wells made by a second process of diamond-cutting the surface of the jewelry piece, the wells being deeper than the grooves.

In one embodiment, the wire used in the formation of intertwinable links is contoured and then cut into individual, pre-contoured links. In another embodiment, the outer periphery of non-contoured links are individually contoured prior to the intertwining of such links to form actual rope chains. In another embodiment, individual links are stamped with inner and outer peripheries of different shapes. In yet another embodiment, individual links are collectively contoured, preferably after arrangement on a support such as an ice lathe or a mandril. Such contouring can be accomplished by hand, machine or the like. If such links are not already provided with a gap, then a gap can be formed into the links as part of the contouring step.

Abstract: A jewelry rope chain having links interwoven together to form a double helix configuration. Each link has a cross section with the largest transverse distance across the cross section defining a first dimension. Each link has a interior space and a gap along the periphery of the length. The widest dimension of the interior space in a direction consistent with the direction of the gap has a dimension which is less than three times the first dimension. Thus, ratios of approximately 2:1 can be achieved.
Abstract: A jewelry chain link suitable for intertwining with other jewelry chain links to form a jewelry chain comprises an inner periphery, an outer periphery, a thickness defined between the inner and outer peripheries and a gap extending between the inner and outer peripheries for intertwining one jewelry chain link with another. First and second outermost edge dimensions along the outer periphery are defined relative to a plane extending through the gap, such that the distance from the plane to each of the first and second outermost edges is different.

Abstract: A jewelry link is formed of a general planar configuration in which the outer sides of the link are formed of sculpted or faceted surfaces to enhance the reflectivity of the link and a jewelry chain formed of a plurality of the links.
Abstract: A mesh jewel comprising a mesh formed by at least one metallic wire section (4) arranged along a mesh surface, wherein the mesh comprises nodes located at adjoining wire section parts of the at least one wire section (4). At least some of the nodes are formed with a node element (1) comprising a pin (2) arranged in cross direction to the mesh surface and structure for preventing displacement in an axial direction of the pin (2) of the wire section parts adjoining the pin (2) of the node element (1). The inventive method for manufacturing the mesh jewel comprises the steps of forming a mesh with at least one metallic wire section (4) by arranging it along a mesh surface, wherein the mesh comprises nodes at adjoining wire section parts of the at least one wire section (4).
