Abstract: A slide fastener includes a pair of left and right fastener stringers each having an element row at each of opposing edge portions of left and right fastener tapes, and a slider configured to engage the element rows by moving forward between the pair of left and right fastener stringers and to disengage the element rows by moving backward. The slider includes an upper wing plate, a lower wing plate , a guide pillar for connecting the upper wing plate to the lower wing plate, a Y-shaped element path defined between the upper wing plate and the lower wing plate, left and right shoulder openings that are open forward the element path, and a rear opening that is open backward the element path.
Abstract: A webbing for use in a fall protection device, such as a self-retracting lifeline having leading edge capabilities, is provided having a double cloth construction with the exterior of the webbing constructed of woven, ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene yarns and having stuffer yarns positioned in the interior of the fabric, wherein the stuffer yarns are made of high-tenacity fibers, such as aramid fibers.
Abstract: A slider for a closure assembly of a bag. The slider has a pair of finger pads extending from a top wall. Each pad has a surface with a curved portion running from a front end to a back end of the slider, a defined, first curved area extending from the curved portion to an end of the first curved area, and a defined, second curved area extending from the end of the first curved area to a midpoint of the curved portion. The first curved area and the second curved area are defined by different angles at which the respective curved area extends into the respective finger pad. Each finger pad includes a major axis dimension greater than a minor axis dimension to provide an area that fits an average finger size, and a lip region to guide a finger of a user into a finger pad.

Abstract: A slider having a tab connecting part provided on a surface of the upper blade of the slider body. The tab connecting part has a cantilevered tab connecting post, with one end portion fixed to the surface of the upper blade at one end and the other end portion is separated from the surface at the other end in the longitudinal direction; and a closing member attached between the other end portion of the tab connecting post and the surface of the upper blade. The slider body includes a fixing portion provided on the surface of the upper blade. The closing member includes an outside portion defining a surface facing opposite to the one end portion, where the closing member is attached to the surface of the upper blade, and an engaging portion, provided on the one end portion-side of the outside portion and engageable with the fixing portion.
Abstract: Embodiments for a removable zipper charm with marketing receptacle are provided. The attachment includes a medallion, a connector ring, a connecting mechanism, and marketing material. Generally speaking, these components are structured such that the connector ring is attached to the medallion at the edge of the medallion, the marketing material is engraved or attached to the medallion, and the connecting mechanism is fastened to the connector ring and thereby the medallion. The connecting mechanism can also be simultaneously fastened to a zipper slide or a zipper pull tab, and this architecture allows a user to use the attachment as a zipper tab replacement or extension while promoting marketing material as desired.
