Abstract: An earring for mounting on a human ear without the necessity for compressive force or piercing of the ear. The earring includes first and second mounting members for mounting the earring on the ear. The mounting members are coupled by a connecting member which defines the shape of the earring and maintains a spacial relationship between the first and second mounting members. When in place, the first mounting member contacts the ear on the back outer portion of the ear while the second mounting member contacts the ear on the inside of the antihelix of the ear. The ends of the mounting members are separated by a distance sufficient to allow placement of the earring on the ear. This spacial relationship between the first and second mounting members can be described by lines extending through each mounting member and intersecting at the origin of an imaginary three dimensional XYZ coordinate system.
Abstract: Jewelry designed to be worn on a perforated ear lobe, comprising two ornamental components linked by a hinge. These two components together form an earring. Fastening means are arranged in each component of the jewelry. The ear ornamentation is closed by rotating the two components about the hinge and engaging fastening means located at the opposite end of each component from the hinge. One fastening means comprises a fine gold alloy pin with a recess. Another fastening means comprises a seating into which the pin is pivoted, the recess engaging in a positive snap fit with a projection in the seating. This ear ornamentation is reversible due to the hidden design of the fastening means, is easy to handle and aesthetically pleasing.
Abstract: A nipple decoration device particularly for attachment to a female breast has an integral spring bias which provides a compressive force on two support arms. At the end of each support arm is an arcuate pad which is in contact with the nipple. The nipple decoration device is held in place by the bias force of the integral spring transmitted to the arcuate pads by the support arms.
Abstract: An ear ornament comprises an elongated, curved rod member defining a central body of generally C-shape, proportioned to reside behind an ear. A lower portion of the ear ornament is attached to one end of the C-shaped central body, curving rearwardly from the central body in an arc and proportioned to curve about the front of an earlobe, to pass rearwardly along the outer face of the earlobe. An upper portion is attached to the other end of the C-shaped central body, to reside against the top of the ear and to curve toward the front of the ear in retentive relation thereto.
Abstract: The specification describes an individual ear clip which fits on the ear auricle and which is secured to the hair of the user for the flattening of a protruding ear auricle. The ear clip comprises a resilient clip portion for clipping over the auricle helix and a body portion including a first relatively flat section for fitting against the inner surface of the helix, a second relatively flat section for fitting in the auricle concha and a narrow bent section joining the first and second sections and fitting over the auricle antihelix. The ear clip is provided with hair securing means for securing the ear clip to the user's hair and tautly holding same, thereby flattening the protruding ear auricle.
