Abstract: An off-road trailer includes a lower frame, a housing positioned on the lower frame, an extendible trailer tongue with a ball hitch receiver, an upper frame positioned above an upper surface of the housing, a rear frame, and at least two wheels. The upper frame and housing may store off-road gear, such as camping accessories. The housing may have one or more retractable platforms that may receive additional gear. Due to the configuration of the lower frame and the wheels, the trailer may be configured to traverse numerous types of terrain due to its lightweight frame and maneuverability.
Abstract: A vehicle has a roof with a top and a floor with a connecting peripheral wall. The roof has a rearward section with small openings and a forward section with one large opening. A deck has an upper and a lower surface. The deck is located above the rearward section of the roof. Support members are vertically oriented and extend through the small openings in the roof. Each support member has a top and a bottom with each bottom coupled to the floor. Each top is coupled to the deck. The support members have a length to hold the entire deck a fixed distance above the top of the roof. The cross sectional area of each support member is a percentage of the cross sectional area of each small opening.
Abstract: An expandable room structure is provided having relatively movable room portions supported by telescopically sliding tubes, at least one of those tubes being movable also laterally to pivot as the room portion floors slide into the same horizontal plane when the room structure is moving into expanded positions. In retracted positions the room portion floors are vertically spaced to permit one room portion to nest within the other. A rack and pinion drive arrangement is provided to cause relative movement between the tubes. Lateral movement of one of the tubes is permitted by engagement with an inclined surface extending out of the other tube such that the laterally moving tube pivots about the pinion. A ramp surface is formed on the abutting edge of the floor of one room portion, and the abutting edge of the floor of the other room portion moves up and down that ramp portion when transitioning between expanded and retracted positions.
