Abstract: A kayak with additional drive formed with a hull whose part is a bottom and a deck in which is formed a crew chamber equipped with a seat and which is equipped not only with an electric engine, which is coupled with a screw-propeller, but also with a battery, which is electrically conductive way connected with the electric engine, where the electric engine is placed on a supporting frame in the back end part of the kayak and is, by help of at least a drive element, which is by its end part waterproof way freely pivoted in the stern of the kayak in axial direction, coupled with the screw-propeller, whereas the battery is placed in a battery box which is placed in the front end part of the kayak.
Abstract: A small machine that can be removably mounted on a wall and may be used while sitting or standing to provide aerobic exercise without requiring the use of the legs. The machine simulates the action of a kayak by using an alternating power strokes from the arms, with an inertial component and adjustable retarding forces created by frictional and various speed-dependent mechanisms. A unidirectionally-rotating flywheel simulates the mass of the kayak plus operator, while friction pads, an eddy current generator and air vanes operating on the flywheel provide additional retarding forces. Various ways to grip the ends of the cord are provided, including individual hand grips and a single long shaft with or without paddles at either end.
